Dude the mansion looks awesome so far as i have seen it. You should release a "Before the viral incident" Video of the mansion and give people a chance to explore it before all of the horror.

Having things in their own originality is good. to have EVERYTHING in the game exactly like the Re game would be just boring. Amazing, but boring.
But another suggestion, if you find yourself in trouble, there's nothing wrong with going back to the original PS version layout. Mixing it up would be fun too! :P

Would it be possible to change the tile template for the tile in the Gallery room (the one with the statue) to better match the remake's. I know all your work is tentative, but it would be nice to see it as close as the mansion as could be, which you're doing a fine job at already.
That things history. It's trash. I can't say I'll have a statue that looks like the remake's - more than likely I won't. Though the one that is there now is getting a replacement.

First off, trying to make this mansion dark and look good at the same time isn't easy. Especially for me with an LCD monitor. Dark patches look like shit. Second of all, all of my lighting is about the same as the Gamecube version(or at least I'm trying to get it that way). Third, I brighten all my videos before I put them on YouTube because they're too dark!!

I made the shots using a point_viewcontrol entity and used path_corners for it to move along. Though it's very bugged and it never gets the shots I'm really going for, I just put it in there and hope for the best.

HEY DUDE! I never played Half Life before, but i see your Excellent work and now i decided to begin when you Project was finish. Like a fan of Resident Evil i say: Congratulations! you are doing a Great job!
And before anyone starts wondering why the hell I have playing cards as paintings, there is a reason for that: They are for the puzzle. You're just going to have to trust me on this.

For the gallery, I would've went with the old "Life and Death" puzzle paintings from the original, but kept the eriee look of the remake.

Just suggestions, great work though.
