PHILLYDEMOCRAT, from a Cal fan, it's hard to take credit for Desean's NFL success. He choose to bring that talent to Cal. One thing though is that Tedford runs a tight, clean ship, and along with moving away from home, Desean seemed to mature a lot while at Cal. With that being said, there are plenty of high profile HS palyers that never realize their potential, but Cal has a pretty good record of keeping those high profile guys on the right track.

Nate Longshore is known for his accuracy downfield. But lacks footwork,awarness,strong arm, and isnt familiar with any other offencesive sets bisides cal's.

Real good question but... comin outta HS TG ran 21.16s in the 200 meter dash. 46.57 in the 400 meter dash. 4.27 at OHS athletic ay. DJs best 40 was 4.29. had he ran track at Long Beach he would have set some records. Poly being the number 1 HS track team all-time he woulda been faster

What is imeemin talkin about USC has one of the best defenses in the country! LB Keith Rivers and DT Sedrick Ellis says enough about their defense. These guys were 1st round picks!

Speak of NO DEFENSE... look at the big ten and most of the bottom teams of the ACC. Now THATS no defense. But about DJ, he's a fast guy.
