  • very nice video! good job!

  • @66Fabienne Thank You :)

  • you say youre a beginner. I dont see a beginner I see a intermediate artist. almost looks exactly like the photo. I have the intuos 3,4 and cintiq tablets (cintiq12X to be exact since I didnt have enough for the 21UX and it was out of stock :( )

    keep at it regretsmyl

  • @mechaart :) hehe ok. Beginner also mean that it's my first works..the begining...;) Why you have so many tablets? even one tablet i have is to much for me. Your job have to do with tablets. You are designer or something..? That is my hobby but i know that maybe one day can be my reall job.

For now i making gold jewels at faculty.Hand made. Have you some art to see? i'm at regretsmtl deviantart com

  • @regretsmyl no problem but still you are very talented. I had a graphire 4 first but due to Windows Vista and the driver not agreeing with eachother, it would sometimes just not work. So I upgraded to a intuos 3 and had no problems. Was supposed to save up for a cintiq but cause I couldnt wait I purchased a intuos 4 for the added pressure sensitivity. Though I thank God I finally had the patience in saving 1 G for the 12WX.

I love to draw that is all.

  • @mechaart I like too. Also i start before 2 years with wacom bamboo tablet...very cheap and very bad presure sensitivity.. but was inaf to make some portraits and learn basic photoshop tools.I will upload a video with my first work with bamboo tablet. soon.Today maybe.

    Then i bought intuos 4. I think i don't need something more for now..but who knows :)

  • @regretsmyl dont worry you will. though one tip I can share with you of the cintiq is whenever you do get the 21UX or 12WX in the future just also invest in a smudgeguard and such since the screen on it will infact catch the sweat from your drawing palm and also accumilate dust on the drawing surface.

hope to see what masterpieces you make in the future. Ill probably sub just to view your future vids.

  • @mechaart Yes i know that always there is something better to get.

I have already upload the portrait i did with a basic tablet of wacom. My first tablet.. Also everything new work i do i upload it at regretsmyl deviantart com

Thanks for sub and tips you share.

  • I would have liked to have seen the progression from photo to finished painting, unless of course it was a simple automated cloning job using Corel Painter, which is more likely than not.

  • ofcourse is not automated..;) i'm sure you have notice how much the hair change. There is not automated way that can give you so much detail ;) It took me 8 hours to finish this and i'm not professional at all. :) I will upload video with photos of progression soon. For more of my art check the link at the ''more info''.

  • OK, thanks for the info. You may be a beginner but then you have a lot of talent. It would be great to see the images of the progression. Hair is v difficult, so any tips you have would be helpful. Good work !! (I take it you did use Corel Painter though ?)

  • thanks. i have use corel but after i found a powerfull ''tool'' brush settings in photoshop i forget corel...The setting is the 'shape dynamics' at brushes window and if you use a tablet set this to ''pen presure'' also use the ''other dynamics''.There are many tutorials free for how to use these two brush settings for make hair. ;)
