Looks like a bad arcade game. Why bother with the entire chassis of the car when you don't see or experience any of that while racing? It's just more weight and mass to move around with no positive effect on the experience. It looks like it has yaw, but no pitch and no roll, which means very little actual feedback at all.
With far superior simulators like the Force Dynamics 301/401 on the market, why would anyone bother with this?
Because BRD is obviously using this for promotional purposes, and an entire F1 car getting moved around would probably catch your eye right?
Some of the other videos of this simulator system don't have a full F1 car hooked up to it, other unnecessary things (like the rear tires) were taken out probably for that very reason.
I'm with you on the lack of pitch and roll. If they don't include them, what is the point of this machine? Maybe the MkII version will have them. I would love to give the Force Dynamics a try. It looks like a real workout!
