God give the game a break ppl. wow took forever before it got raid bosses that werent just tank and spank. then again, developers got too lazy too add more quest grinding after lv 20ish so i guess u can bash on them there. u know theyre gonna eventually add more shit to the game.

1. all those spectacular malee animations together is really something you wont see in wow.....

2. besides the pve raids they are raids when you attack a castle of asmodians or balaurs.......where its like an open real time pvpve with a massive number of players usually......like real war, and there are real time changes depending on the result...not like in wow where its like"no matter what happens i just gonna get my honor and idk". damm.....im running out of characters here....

Remmeber people dont compair this "raid" with World of warcraft, the two games are completly different - Aion is more PvPvE orientated.

Most raids in Aion are tank and spank - the game shines in its PVP aspects.

in gameinformer they said they brought pvp to pve so it should shine in both and i can seethe pvp part of aion out doing wow but only cause the graphics are more advanced other wise some ole same old and they spent more time on toon fighting like for each move a diffrent and more detailed action would happen but raiding is wat makes WOW wow lol

Vanilla WoW was a unique experience...

You had to earn your epics/profession skill and now they just hand everything to you.

I'd prefer to have a game where the company gives the public a challenge rather than being pity jerked and spoon-fed by Blizz.

It's just a world boss. Most, if not all, are tank and spank. Actual bosses at the end of instances or group quests do stuff and require an amount of skill to kill them.

Are there many diffent kinds of events / raids possible ? Are there moments when differant classes/ factions face eachother or such ?

Because i have been playing a lot of mmorpg such as Archlord, where there is barely any action except for 1vs1 pvp. . .

yes... its RvR meaning Realm vs Realm, this is like 1 race vs another and there r 3 different races, Elyos, Asmodian, & Balaur(NPC).

it doesnt look like they have strategy. the entire raid is always at high HP and people are barely losing mana. plus everyone is piled on the boss. sounds like city of heroes style.

there's no tactic.

There are going to be 2 types of raids .

1. The fight is mainly tank n spank and just requires massive amounts of people.

2. Smaller encounter but much more dependent on class and strat
