He had less boxing experience than wrestling experience, but I think he was training in boxing for about two years before UFC 6.

I love the Goldberg character, but in a real fight he would end up on a stretcher or dead against Abbott. Tank fights for real, Goldberg participates in staged matches. Tank only does it when he's broke.

I was a big fan of the wwf when i was a kid, yes wwf. Back in the day. Not any more, not coz its not good, it really is good entertinment but i am def a 100% ufc fan now. But i can c a def good changeover for the wrestlers. Look at Brock and im sure many more wil follow his footsteps and dominate the ufc.

@TheDonTheSon .. I remember when i first started Jiu Jitsu, i would get submitted by the smallest of dudes. I am also a very muscilar guy with enough strength to pick up an average person over my head and press him for 8 reps, but when i entered the world of mma i found that it's a whole new thing and my strength was irrelevant. Strength can be a big asset BUT you need to aquire a bit of skill to be able to make use of it. You can't just be a big guy and pissed off, and expect to win.

Also wrestling is not fake, yeah its scripted but getting your skull smashed by a chair till you bleed from your head is not in any form fake. However you went to far to say Goldberg would destroy most mma fighters. As an mma student myself i can tell you that the difference between a trained fighter and a guy that only has strength(our childhood hero Goldberg in this case) is huge in the fighter's favour.

@oOIZodiacIOo If you know what you are talking about, then you would know he's trained in Sambo and Muay Thai for years. He currently owns a Muay Thai gym. The guy is as legit as they come. Just too old to fight in MMA. Like most guys the money was in pro wrestling back then. As for Tank, Tank sucked and was out of shape in most of his fights. So who knows how a "real" fight would have played out.

@PlagueRiddenGoat He was actually a junior college All American wrestler and was supposed to wrestle for a Division 1 school, but got injured in car accident and missed the opportunity. The injury acted up again when he was training for UFC 11 with Tolly Thompson (An Olympic heavyweight wrestler), and he had to use cortisone to train for the UU 96'. He had less boxing experience than wrestling experience, but I think he was training in boxing for about two years before UFC 6.
