I like the last one the best. If you pop your knee out you're in the puppet master. However you need to tell people to keep that elbow right on the free leg too or they can just step over a possibly reverse the kimura.
what about when they are sitting with their back to your legs and body facing your head? that one side control where its a lot harder to get out of/get your knee in? (sorry, i'm a beginner so i don't have any terms to make it any clearer what i'm trying to say...)
@jeulya This type of side control you're referring to is called Scarf Hold, or Kesa Gatami in Japanese. There are numerous submissions available from the bottom when someone has you in Kesa Gatami. Within the next week or so, I'll put together a video showing a few options for submissions.
Good info provided in video, I was working bottom side control this past week, I think it's one of the most important positions in ground work when it comes to mma, you really need to know how to defend this position.
I love this, there's so many times where I can only get the knee in when I try to re-guard. I like how you don't need an underhook with the left arm to pull this move off. Very nice will give it a try some time.
Nice technique. Also, everyone, when you're going for the armbar here, you can hook your leg on the other side to complete a very very tight triangle choke. I've landed it many times from bottom side control. 5/5 nice work
wow nice thanks
