Every human already knows that it's wrong to inflict unnecessary pain and suffering-- so they agree with the principle in which veganism is founded upon. What they can learn from this is that they should enjoy life, and experience the bliss an innocent lamb has simply being on this earth. It's truly sad that even I am reminded of how I need to have some fun when I see animals. We all have something to learn from our fellow earthlings. :)
To the producers, can you please spare us all of this MTV production CRAP IE: music behind the dialog, short clips. We really want to see more of the rescued animals without broken up clips (created for those with a minus ADD attention span). I'm not trying to be a troll, just saying how it is.
Aw, what a cute little lamb. I loved the way it was skipping and sniffing the pig, along with the curious cows watching. It's just sad that humans exploit farm animals in cruel ways just out of greed and selfishness. farm animals are no different than the animal companions like cats and dogs. I've never eaten lamb, pork, duck, or deer, and I never will.
I think there needs to be major reform in farm practices all around, but I do believe that eating meat is healthy and natural. I don't think this needs to contradict the fact that animals still deserve to have a happy, satisfying and nurturing life in the meantime, and be put down as humanely and painlessly as posslbe. I'm not sure where to draw the line on meat-eating, but I do appreciate the good work you're doing in raising awareness and caring for the animals.
I used to think the same thing, noodlelube. I've done a lot of research since then, learning about humane/organic, free-range animal products. If you can find a place where animals are truly slaughtered "humanely and painlessly"--and if you can find a way to make such an inefficient method of slaughter work in a world where people eat SO much meat--let us know. For the record, I don't think eating meat is unnatural, but not eating it isn't unnatural either. Which one causes less suffering?
@noodlelube: To be natural, all something needs to do is occur in nature. Rape, murder, theft, starvation, etc. These are all things that occur in the natural world that I would never find morally acceptable to inflict upon others, so "natural" cannot be the measure by which I choose my actions. "Moral" is better. Is it morally acceptable to needlessly kill an animal, but unacceptable to needlessly hurt her/him? Can I apply this same logic to my interaction with humans?
The tragic irony of domestic animals breed not to fear humans have humans to fear most of all. This little guy will have a chance to trust humans his long full life. May we be worthy of that trust.
This video is so sweet & brought a big smile to my face :) Angelo is such a cutie & looks right at home - happy, playful & care-free. Just how ALL animals should be! I'm very sad to know that Angelo's mother died, but I'm sure she's in heaven, watching & smiling down on him & seeing how happy her baby lamb is now! Somehow thank you doesn't seem to be enough to express my admiration for all the loving & dedicated work that you do for our precious animals friends! But still, thank you so much!!!
When are humans going to realize that ALL animals have a will to live and enjoy life? When are humans going to realize that they do not need to eat animals?
Bless sweet little Angelo, Farm Sanctuary, and the "angel"
I visted Farm Sanctuary in July and was very mpressed by the staff -- they work so hard! what good karma that little lamb had to be rescued that day while all the others died, including its mother. HUMANS SHOULD NOT EAT MEAT!
How adorable! This made my day!

That's true. But why is it okay to eat cows and not sheep, pigs, ducks, or deer?
bjbarlowe 2 years ago
Or...Dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, people? Well, it's not ok to eat any of them!
