@mrusername Why not, MK9 is fun to play and all but 3S is far more intersting on a competitive level.

IMO MK9 lacks depth (combo system or lack there of, no cross overs and just the genaral of options you have) while 3S is very deep (amazing combo system, parry system).

In your personal opinion.

My brother doesn't play fighters (he's more into sports games and shooters) but has been enjoying watching pro matches and such recently. His favourite game to spectate is in fact MK9.

MK9 is just more entertaining to watch.

MK you can't do SF crossovers, but crossing-up your opponent does expose them. You also have plenty of unblockables and overheads, mix-up etc. You have tons of options, just not your standard SF ones, cause it's not SF.

The only downside when comparing gameplay fairly between MK and SF, is combos are easier in MK (as a pad player anyway) and there's a much lower chance of dropping combos as an MK player, which can take away from the tension.
