I hope hes recovered, im going to a sports shop to help a mate pick out skates, pads and a helmet but i will not wear any of it, because and here is my reason i wear protective things i injure myself if i dont and i seem to be fine i dont do anything to my body part from maybe a scrape, but yeah my mate hates not wearing protective things because she falls alot but thats how you learn you fall and get back up, i have fallen many times and i just get back up and tried again.

And I landed on my head off of a 7ft ledge similar to this kid. Got up and laughed it off. If I didn;t have that helmet on I would have died. Helmet had a crack in it the size of a fist.

I fell about this hard once, but I didnt seizure like that. I was gaping like 7-8 feet and my boot hit the curb at the top and i landed strait on my head at the bottom. Everything went black for a bout 5-6 seconds, I saw some stars and then it was back to reality...sucks man.

when i fall like that te one thing i do is just cover my head with my arms and tuck into a ball. flailing about liek that shifts your body in the air and can have you land on either legs arms or head tuck into a ball coverign your head and the impact is dispersed throught your whole body instead of one part...still hurts but not as bad as that would have.
