it's so fucking disgousting and unfair that some psycho leaders decide of the be or not to be of thousands of innocent people. reading about hiroshima and nagasaki blasts makes you just appreciate the beauty of the world we're living in, people that we have around us but unfortunately, it also makes you aware of the possibility of destroying all of that beauty and your dreams in seconds. i'm so full of grief right now, it makes me wanna scream. how come anybody could decide about your death?

I'm in 10th grade and in history and english we learned a lot more about the two World Wars this year. and it's actually not biased towards americans. My teacher was going on about how awful it was for the U.S. to drop the atomic bombs. and the same goes for the japanese. what gave them the right to send their soldiers to die. what gave hitler right to kill all those jews? to decide their fate?

And i always say, no dude don't you'll regret it but he doesn't listen. I tell him, after reading All Quiet on the Western Front (about WWI) how could you join? He says, I think it was a lot worse back then. NO IT WASN'T. that was the start of modern warfare, which continues to this day. He's all patriotic too. It'd be a shame
I remember reading a book about this man in high school ,although i dont remember the name of it ..it is an amazing story ..and i agree with him that the powers that be should reconsider the arms race and strive for peace..and in doing so .. a people should not follow a leader blindly as they did in WWII..for this is the consequence of doing so .peace to the world and may God open his arms to this man who has seen hell on earth !
wait a second... this guy lived to be 93... that's longer than most people do... they said he had health problems from the radiation but they didn't effect him until he was in his late 80s , early 90s.... isn't that when people usually fall prey to cancers and such...
