  • that guitar riff insane wit that bassline/ 1 of the hardest beats of all time. Parrish was my favorite mc though, erick was nice 2 but he had a slug in throat or something- they go down in the hip-hop history book tho plus they produced their own shit. damn dj scratch, why u take k la boss job like that?

  • NIT WACL PATTY WACK MY STYLE IS DOPE AND AS DEALY AS CRACK

  • crazy scratching skills on this joint.

  • I used to rock EPMD all the time when they first came out. There was nobody out like them. Back in the day everyone had their own style or flavor. So it was like a smorgasborg of nothing but quality hip-hop to satisfy whatever your taste was. EPMD was my taste of hip-hop. Still are.

  • @YoungOldSchoolRapper I was 1973, 85-97 was the greatest era of hip hop new styles and flows came out every week, no one wanted to sound like each other.... and if you did you were WHACK!!!!!!

  • This Jam is "Deeeee Joint", (A Fuckin MASTERPIECE), EPMD should have never split), They knew how to "Rock A Party", I'm 48 and I still dance to this joint.

  • LMFAO Hip Hop from 21 fuckin years ago COMPLETELY DESTROYS modern horseshit hands down!

  • Classic. Five mics. Off the bicycle chain.

  • Still get goose bumps, proper dark. Tune cannot die, dropping the b line in dance back in da days....da crowd gets rawkus!!!

  • Ole school murders all these new school fools from drake, nikki minaj, lil wayne, etc.

  • Ridicolous olskool beats!!!! FIRRRRE

  • Back when this came out I was going to school at ECSU. This was my room mate's girl's favorite song. She could rap it word for word. I thought that was funny because she was a little white girl from Simsbury, CT.

    Great track btw!!!

  • 1 of my fav songs uv all time.

  • LIstening to this reminds us why DJ Scratch was regarded as the best DJ back in the day.

  • No dancing with the ladies on this joint...this was strictly a joint for your dance crew back in 89'!!!!

  • The scratchin' is infectious! DJ Scratch cut it up somethin' fierce!

Also, its time to bring back the high top fades and lamp shaded kangols! Just as a throwback style.

  • Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, this was the first 12" I bought of their's and I've got everything of their's ever since. TOPS.

  • it never fails... the two brothers dancing are NICE...

  • Now this is an Ol School joint, 106 used to pull some crazy joints out the crates, now they'll call a video from 2003 ol' school. For kids that don't know, old school ends at about 95 & 96 is a stretch. 97 and on is just old (unless it's a classic album)

  • My favorite rap/hip-hop group right next to Public Enemy. You can probably tell by my username that I'm a fan. Wish more girls my age listened to stuff like this, and let me tell you, this was made WAY before my time. Pretty much everything on my iPod is old school. It kicks the crap out of Lil' Wayne, that's for sure.

  • OH DAMN, THIS KILLS! OMG.

  • the beat is fuckin' masterpiece

  • This is my favorite rap song of all time!!!! of all time...all right Kayne u can finish now!!! LOL

    And Luther Vandross: So Amazing

  • @BJSteigner School these people. =-).

  • @joewood2000 Maybe I should....If you are going sample the tracks, you have to pay ode to the artists to did the original.

  • @BJSteigner I agree with you 100%. You need permission. If not. You are going to be in big trouble. Copyright Infringment. Ask Biz Markie. He was never the same after Freddie Scott sued him for "Just A Friend".

  • @joewood2000 Biz Markie already got sued by Gilbert O'Sullivan in Alone Again. <That was from I Need A Haircut.

  • Strong Island!

  • Please believe..

  • LOL this was recorded off the old 106th and Park with Free and AJ.. Back when 106th actually played old school joints and not shit from 4 or 3 years ago..
