  • I guess the pilot was hiding in those woods :D Nice landing considering it was probably an emergency.

  • music?

  • looks like wo different Planes. At 00.04 IT has #3 in it , later it is an 8...

  • Nice!!!

  • @crushingvanessa

    I believe it's in Duxford.

  • Comment removed

  • Imagine what this would be worth today even in this condition, if only it could've been put away somewhere and I'm not pro war even.

  • if someone told me where and when these planes crashed i could point you to the pilot

  • CRASHED ME109 DURING WW2, THIS CLIP IS THE MUCH LONGER AND CLEAR CLIP OF THE CRASH SITE... OKAAAAAY AND WHY YOU SHOUT

  • I'd tow it into my barn even with by balls if I had the opportunity!!!

  • Erm.... the 'fucking krauts' as you put it are a part of NATO and our allies! Itwas the Nazis that caused all the troubles NOT Germany!!

  • A good German is A crashed German on the ground! Nazi Germany has vanished after beaten up to the alleys! Maybe you had fine machines, but you definitely lost big time fucking Crouts!

  • @johansen2004 let me guess your a jew right??....

  • @johansen2004 Hello ignorant idiot. The slang term "Crout" is correctly spelled "Kraut". And "Alleys" are what you find behind buildings in the city. So try "Allies". next time when referring to the forces the Germans faced. ;D PS. Actually,...don't post if all you are going to do is prove your lack of grey matter. LOL!

  • Soldiers thinkin "waw germans so inteligents, look this machine"..... i think so

  • @Binotto You write like a guy that hangs out with johansen2004 above. Please don't attempt a response. Just go in the bathroom, and touch yourself some more thinking about one day getting laid. (BTW,...Won't happen.) HA HA HA! Later Numb Nutz.

    ;)

  • @Ghstwn SENSUCHT............

  • @Binotto Just put your hands back in your pants and leave the keyboard alone. I told you not to respond. So,..."Blasen Sie mich!" ;D

  • @Ghstwn du bist das scheisse kind von allen. Fick dich saght.

  • @Binotto I suppose I should have explained that I'm done with you. I had the last word. Got it? You may continue if you like typing into cyber space, but it goes to my spam folder. And then there is this wonderful litttle button. It's called "delete". I love that one. But you will indeed write once more. Because I am in charge of your emotions at the moment. And they are too weak to resist how much I've stirred you up. So do it now. It arrives,... I delete it instantly. So go. :D

  • Its weird thinking there is an enemy Air Force aircraft here on British soil when today there will soon be no Royal air force aircraft on British soil.

  • Was Doc Furniss based at Usaaf Poddington Bedforshire ?

  • lose the music.

  • Interesting colour schem .

  • ads ruin youtube

  • @neonpike They also make youtube free ;)

  • @neonpike well they need money to keep it going.

  • so that's how they killed the british, hypnotising them from the front with the front of the propeller

  • Video is not rare.

  • @acoow Yes really there is more interesting and rare video on this theme (in color)

  • @Vanyaaynav How can something that is so easy to copy be rare? Video is not rare.

  • @acoow I agree! copy and paste over and over hmm not that hard to find anymore

  • that be worth a few quid now

  • Some of the parts could have been cannibalized from other airplanes at that point in the war. Great landing. I'd love to hear from the pilot.

  • This looks like the G-2 model. Its lacking any wire for the antena part, and as some has pointed out already: has a cannon between pilots legs. Great footage!

  • Believe it or not. There is an ME 109 buried in Berkeley, California between the Pier and Highway 80. Its been there since the end of WW2. Saw the spoke rim just below the surface of the bay's salt water when I was fishing one day as kid. To bad no one is willing to look for it. Then again maybe its best left where it is; at rest. 12/26/11.

  • is the 109 the Junker?

  • @papilon71

No the Bf 109 (or Me 109) is the Messerschmitt. There is no such thing as just one Junker, Junker was a manufacturer for MANY Luftwaffe aircraft.

  • 109s ran out of fuel lot and I guess this is what happened, they cant always just turn for home in a sky full of spits and hurricanes, never understood why they never developed drop tanks or installed a hump in the fuselage? It seems to lack wing guns which would make it an 109-F onwards, which suffered early reliability issues

  • @PangeaSpreads

Huh? The Germans used drop tanks for years. And they also added plenty of fuel in tanks inside the fuse behind the pilot. The Germans had many models of drop tanks. And the F', G's and K's all had wing mounted cannons.

  • @EvilxMerlin Just checked it out the external tanks, ya seams the 109 did eventually get drop tanks but not till 1940's onwards and I'd love to know what increase in fly time they made, most channel based Luftwaffe pilots prior bitched about 15 minutes of available fuel over english coast then had to turn back or bail out over france. F's onwards lacked internal wing guns to increase performance and maneuverability, they could attach external cannons to wings when needed

  • @PangeaSpreads

Only the E-7 and later got fitted with the drop tanks, those were not used in A2A combat during the Battle Of Britain. The drop tanks were 80 gallon (one per wing), the 109 E-7 was 0.44 lb/(hp·h)) fuel consumption. So give or take it was another 400-500 miles. Gondola pods and underwing tubs are still wing cannons.

  • @EvilxMerlin The 109s ability to attach external cannons as well as bombs is well known they did it regularly my point was simple enough which was it appears the 109 in this vid lacks "internal" wing guns(to be more accurate) which tells us what model of 109 this is def not, also could only find evidence of the 109s fuselage mounted 300 litre drop tank which increased range by 125 miles, only introduced after TBOB (had to hurt their chances.. good! lol)

  • @EvilxMerlin Other bits of evidence to help figure out what model. So it has no internal wing guns, it has rounded wing ends over earlier square wing ends, it has three blades over much earlier two, it looks like a larger supercharger and no tall aerial behind canopy. I'm not sure about 109 colourations there was so many but I'm sure it helps i.d. it. Other bits may help, colour camera, vid says 1944/45. I think its a 109-K, what you think?

  • @PangeaSpreads

Well only VERY VERY early models (B, C and D) had a two bladed prop and all thru the VERY early F' models had the "square" supercharger intake. This is for sure a tall tail (or wooden tail), with a loop antenna. Look at the loop antenna. Its not a G-14 for sure. I'm thinking its a G-10. However White 8 is FOR SURE a K-3 (the hatch on the side confirms that)

  • Where did the 109 go down?

  • Awesome. 1:02 - 1:04 shows the back of the centrally located cannon that fired through the inside of the engine block and out the propeller spinner. This looks to be a Bf-109 G, as in Gustav, which means the cannon would be either a 20mm or 30mm. Just one of those rounds can severely damage or disable an aircraft if it hits something vital. The cannon was crammed just ahead of the control stick, practically between the pilot's knees.

  • @sixty8panther i have a couple of 20mm german rounds from ww2 and yes they can definitely do some damage, it would really ruin your day if you got hit with one.

  • What a beaut plane and thanx for sharing.

  • Comment removed

  • Nice belly landing.. looked like that ME 109 could fly again.

  • wow i thought i was gonna get rick rolled

  • Your original post suggested you were equally as happy as Hitler to see the other one-third to go, it was a very tasteless statement you made. And I didn't accuse you of being Jewish, your own message appeared anti-Semetic. There were a lot of people on the Allied side who were indifferent to the Jewish plight during WW2, I allege you are one of these people. Am I wrong? Did this all arise out of poor composition?

  • Ahh, if i was there. I did shot the pilot in the leg. Steal his plane and mount it on my wall.

  • From the looks of the film? he was one hell of a pilot to land a damaged bird wheels up on a slope like that.

  • HAHAHAHA GERMANS LOST!!! JEWISH POWER!!!

  • @LeighTheGenius yes the germans did lose! they only could kill six million, only had one third more to go.

  • @troyweeseful That's because Hitler was a terrible tactician and busy killing almost 20 million Russians.

What's the difference between you and a pizza? A pizza doesn't scream in the oven...

  • @SenorSpode THAT WHY YOU WOULD BE ON A TRAIN HEADED FOR AUSTWIZ AND REMEMBER WHAT THE SIGN SAY' S .WORK WILL SET YOU FREE! AND ABOUT THE OVEN YOU WOULD MEET THEM TO.

  • When I compare this plane to the Black 6, it's astounding that the Black 6 had a wooden prop, evidenced by post-crash photos. This prop is obviously metal.

If I was there, I'd dare to ask the soldiers "Can I have it?"

  • @SenorSpode same here.

  • Perhaps Me 109 G-14

  • Hi thank you for your cmment the music in the background is from my editing package VIVID hope this helps hope you enjoy my channel.

    Kind Regards John

  • @TOPCAMERMAN

Do you know if anyone ever researched this and found out where and when this fighter crash landed and what became of the pilot?

  • What is the music background? Very nice.

  • Hate to say it guys.... Both are Bf 109 F (trop). Not G's because there are no bulges in front of the cockpit for the superchargers. The large air intakes show that they were both Tropical versions. Still, nice video!

  • @ksjp53 Afraid not, neither are trops at all, they don't have the distinctive trop intake and they wouldn't be depolyed in Europe anyway. One is a late G, probably a G10 and the other is a K4. You can tell by the bulge in front of the canopy(no bulge at all on F's), the small gun troughs, the bulge on the wings over the landing gear bays and the late canopies.

  • the plane at 8-15sec looks like it came down on its left wing, it looks bent upwards slightly to me

  • he remembered he forgot to feed the cows lol

  • Well spotted TOPCAMERA, the first plane is number 3 with a bent top prop and the second is number 8 with a near straight top prop.

  • Would love to know what became of these planes and the pilots?

  • OK, Hitler was evil and all that. But the Me 109, what a hell of an airplane.

It looks beautiful even sitting in the grass. 33,000 built, one of the most

produced military aircraft in history. No one can ever charge the Germans

    with making junk, never.

  • german pilot was flying away from the eastern from to escape being thrown into russian captivity. i read that online. good vid 2 i only saw pictures before this

  • I crue when i see 109 in situatuion like this ((

  • wow, nice clip!

  • @90Sokol90 Yes it is video quite good, but there is more the best video (in colour) where planes Me-109 (plenty) FW-190. FW-200 and other planes of Germany are shown.

  • The two soldiers are thinking: How can we get this back to my house?

  • What was the standard Luftwaffe fighter prior to the 109, anyone know?

  • БЛЯДСКАЯ РЕКЛАМА!! ЮТУБ ЗАБЕАЛ СРАНЫМИ ВСТАВКАМИ

  • i bet that german was like "phew im one lucky german" ...."oh shit here come comes the usa army"

  • I would love to have been the farmer to walk out on his field that morning and say: "Dibs on this one! its on MY land!"

  • I wonder what happened to the pilot, I hope he lived.

  • @jimmyxx3 yeah he's hanging out in the barn

  • @blankrobber

Lol, yeah, probably just having a nice tea somewhere in the country XD

  • I didnt realased ,Me`s 109 had a window on the left back side ...

  • @ElephantKiller23 hiyas :) If you mean the 'window' located by the Balkenkreuz ("balkan cross" luftwaffe insignia) - thats not actually a window... it is a hatch that is normally covered by a metal plate. I know the RAF had similar hatches located on their Spitfires in which the radios, oxygen tanks or in the case of recce Spits cameras were stored but I've no idea what this hatch on the 109 was for.

  • @unklebobosaurus That hatch is where the first aid kit is located

  • RIP= WHO EVER THE PILOT IS

  • Very common for U.S. troops advancing east to come across Luftwaffe A/C such as this 109, no doubt pointing west. German pilots would escape the advancing Russians and fly as far west as possible until out of fuel and belly land. At all costs they sought to avoid capture by the Russians and made every effort to get as far west as possible & surrender to U.S. troops. The fact that the radio access cover is off could mean this 109 carried 1 or 2 people in the fuselage, common under such conditions

  • God damn-it my bird is busted, so where's my prop ya, ding bats! I need to be in the air, so what are you doing? Crap!!! I don't care what it is, I'm a flyer, so get me off the ground, and stop dilly dallying around! Crappage abounds! Reload my belt feed guns and the Cannon while your at it. No pilots or ground crew here.

  • The first one (no 3) has a short tailwheel, the second ( no 8) has the extended tailwheel, they are both G10s or K4s, with no damage it's likely they were escaping from the ruskies,,WHO WOULDN'T??

  • Not a single Allied hole in it! It looks like last few weaks of war and the rats decided to run for their lifes by crash landing in France or any where else there were Americans!

No sign of pilot (dead or alive) either!

  • @hetmanbasza Not rats, just soldiers doing their jobs the same as those on the allied side did.

  • @JaleelJohanson62

On one hand I am glad you purposely are twisting the meaning of word "rats" in this context. On the other, I would like to read your explanation of this particular "soldier's" cowardice by leaving his unit and becoming "missing in action" to the rest of his brother soldiers and his CO.

It would have been perfectly OK for him to fly and surrender with the entire unit provided his CO gave such order. What he has done has no honor.

  • @hetmanbasza Whoa there a second.... It's only an assumption that he was running away to surrender, not established fact. If he was surrendering in the way you surmmize, then yes, I agree with you that it was not the most honorable thing he could have done. The truth is, however, there's not enough evidence for us to know for sure.

  • @JaleelJohanson62

That's fair. Unless I am able to produce some evidence supporting my reasoning you are more likely to be correct.

  • That's very good, my brother brought home a prop from the wreckage, possibly this one, and it was left behind our garage until my mother gave it to a scrap merchant after the war.

  • "You can skip this ad in 5 seconds".

No, I can skip it right now You Greedy Tube. Bye.

  • looks to be the late model 109 with the "galland hood" which was a redesigned canopy with less framing on it creating a less obscured view behind and to the side,

  • the little hatch on the fusolage i know i spelt it wrong is there a little survival kitin there for when the pilot crashes?

  • @iwuvoreos yeah it usualy had a medical kit stored in it I think, though im not exactly sure of what it comprised of. when the hatch door is in place it should have the red cross logo in the middle

  • I have seen this clip somewhere before. I believe these guys were escaping the allied advance and ran out of fuel. I maybe mistaken but nearly sure it is the same clip.

  • The pilot had no alternative but to crash land because the air traffic controllers (which were by the way highly-trained holstein cows) told the pilot to use the wrong runway!

  • Nice video. I had to watch twice to see was 2 different planes. The 3 and 8 on sides looked the same at first glance. Thanks for sharing.

  • crank is trashed... most aircraft were built to land on unimproved runways. And hell that field looks better than most airbases at the time!!. But I bet the nazi pilot had alot more on his mind than "eich ver is mein landing gearz down und locked lights?" .50 caliber fire on your 6 tends to take priority sometimes..

  • That happens to me all the time. My backyard is full of german planes. Maybe there's a bermuda triangle in my yard or something

  • ...looks like it was sitting for quite some time -or ...fire damage?

  • I know that a certain author said it was a K-4, but that could only be true if the tail wheel doors were removed. This late G-10 shares most of the external features that were standardized on the K-4, but the K-4 was the only late war 109 with retractable tail wheel. Also, the wheel wouldn't be down, because the pilot wouldn't lower his gear for a belly landing. And if it were down, you'd see small rectangular doors. A common mistake to make, since the two models are externally almost identical.

  • what happened to the pilot??was he killed or captured?

  • whoever the German Pilot was put it down pretty good... besides the prop.. only a few scratches

  • @Blackknight13100 Hi, I am pleased you have enjoyed the clip but look very closely and you will see 2 me-109s.

    Kind Regards John T.C.

  • @TOPCAMERMAN . definately two me 109s white 3 and white 8 .such beautiful aircraft !

  • @TOPCAMERMAN Indeed! '3' and '8'!

  • @TOPCAMERMAN There are actualy 3 Me109's in this clip. At the start it's Nr 3. Then you see a Nr1, wich allmost looks like a 109E judging by the tail, and then the Nr8 the rest of the movie :)

  • @TOPCAMERMAN Do you know what happened to the Luftwaffe pilot of the crashed Me-109???

  • @Blackknight13100 if you land a plane weels up engine runnig and the prop hits the ground you ruin the whole engine

  • @Blackknight13100 Yeah, but the engine is probably messed up pretty bad unless he shut it off before his emergency landing

  • @southwest1998 I'd say the DB-605's gear reduction took the brunt of the damage, as well as the front housing. They fared much better than a direct-drive engine in this scenario.

  • What's the location?

  • There are 2 aircraft...an Me109 G10/U4 in the beginning...the rest is an Me109K-4.

Bf109 or Me109, it is the same thing. It was designed as "Bf", but after Willy Messerschmitt bought the company, all aicraft were re-named "Me". So Bf and Me are both correct.

  • @me109g10u4 Very good. It's always nice to find someone that knows at least a little (and you seem to know a lot) about what they are talking about. Clearly it is two diffrent ac, as they are diffrent numbers (white 3 and white 8). And just one little bit of info on the diffrence between Bf and Me. Bf was the early designation of any of the Messerschmitt aircraft built at the Berlin Flightworks or Bayerische Flugzeugwerke. That was the source of "BF" . They were all Me- or Messerschmitt.

  • @me109g10u4 Actually, they are both Bf-109G-10 models. You can tell White 8 is a G-10 because it doesn't have doors for a retractable tail wheel. It does have the late war long tail wheel and rectangular upper wing bulges though. White 3 is also a G-10, but an earlier build. You can find many of the K-4's features on G-10s and G-14's because they weren't standardized until the K-4 went into production. Therefore some G-10s will have those features, and some will not.

  • TOPCAMERAMAN

I LOVE DIG YOUR WORK - AND THIS MUSIC. WHO IS THE GROUP, AND WHATS THE NAME OF THE PIECE?

  • @B17Superfortress Sorry for the late reply the mucic is from Avid Studio hope this helps.

    Kindest Regards John. T.C.

  • K4 or G10 ... very hard to see the difference.

  • its a bf-109g not a me-109

  • Those guages look amazingly modern! This was 65 years ago. Wow

  • That is most certainly not a G series 1) the entire tail is different then a G series, with the Rudder being way too big 2) G series was had more of an angular look, this plane is more rounded for aerodynamics.

This is most certainly a K series 109.

Arguably the best 109 ever made, its most notable quality was its rate of climb which was ridiculously good. A total boom and zoom fighter and a formidable opponent to the P-51.

  • looks like K -4 version

    galland canopy type

    Enlarged rudder

    bulky cowling absent

  • think, its a bf109k-4 , with galland canopy, long tail-wheel,round antenna, no bumps for amunition, but extended. the k-4 has less weight than g-10 but similar

  • not so much of a crash as just a wheels up landing.

  • what's the music used in the clip

  • actually, that a Bf 109K-4 White 8. it flew from 1./JG 52. it belly landed behind

American lines May, 1945. the pilot was Anthony Schulze. my Grand Father. I wonder if it would be possible to get a copy of this Video?

  • @STUPIFY1970 easy to download with realplayer.

suspected was a K-4, your commen proofs I was right!

  • Yeah definitely a 109 G . Wing tips, engine cowling, propeller boss and the canopy framework give it away. Much more aerodynamic than the earlier E model.

  • @spudcat007 Hi thanks for your comment and information can you see the 2 aircraft in this clip ? if you want to see more WW2 clips from my channel just type in 92ND BOMB GROUP enjoy.

    Kind Regards John T.C.

  • @TOPCAMERMAN , what's the music you used in the clip

  • @TOPCAMERMAN , what's the music you used in the clip

    regards merlinmac

  • @spudcat007

the rudder and canopy disagree with you ;)

  • It looks like a 109 G 10 witch was a very good type for a late model 109.

  • Is the Me Gustov (type G)?

    Its air-intake is very characteristic...

  • @BesshosenEnsenLife Hi I must pass on this one.

    Regards T.C.

  • @BesshosenEnsenLife

my guess is it would be a G variant beacuse it has the horn or scoop for the compressor for the pressurized cockpit, which was introduced on the G2 and on... though i think some G-6s did not have a compressor, the rounder larger prop hub and pointy wing tips where introduced in the F model Messerschmitt and carried through.

    beautiful airplane the 109.

  • @BesshosenEnsenLife

actually its a later G i think, it may be a G-10! it has the newer cleaner stile canopy which allowed better visibility to the pilot over the heavier framed canopy on aircraft such as the G-6, the G-10 featured the DB-605 and with the new MW-50 Water Methanol injection, it created 1,800hp! but i don't know if its a G-10 beacuse i think some G-6 Messerschmitts where retrofitted with that canopy.

  • Too bad most WW2 Warbirds, Axis & Allied got smelted down.

  • @ClarenceBoddicker87 Hi thanks for your comment and yes it is to bad.

    Regards John

  • wow man this is authentic! :D

  • @fsbnorthrop2 Hi yes it is the film was taken by Dov Furniss from the 92nd bomb group he used a 16mm hand held camera no tripod.

    Regards John

  • Those two Americans look like they're looking for the pilot hiding in the fuselage.lol!

That thing would be worth a couple of mill now.

  • Nice landing in one piece

  • Thank you for your comment please enjoy the rest of my channel.

    Regards John

  • you should not judge people because of their lider i can say u are a idiot just because bush was your president

  • @madmaxzxr Really Bush was my Prez? was he I don't think so u idiot I don't live in the U.S

  • what hapend with the pilot ?

  • @DaManzMoney what a poor commentary, typical school boy... learn history
