Danny Wuerffel might be the greastest passing quarterback in college history, and Tim Tebow may be the greastest qb of all time hands down. Miami either played for or won the national championship throughout the 80's and early 90's. NFL U was the dominating team in those years period. UF was just an afterthought in those years. Im glad to see UF back up again although this year they r not that good.

Miami turned down the SEC(smart move btw) so they could win in the Big EAst and the ACC. They have yet to win an ACC championship though. I think only 2 ACC teams have never won the conference and Miami is one of them. SAD.

He won 4 sec titles and he also went play back to back national title games. So eat it. Yeah they lost to Nebraska 62-24 but nobody really actually competed with that team that year because they would win by 31 points or more. But the following year they got revenge on Florida State in the nc 52-20.

Florida gettysberg address was not soft, it was heart and a team who wanted the title more. Peyton Manning got beat by Florida three times 3 times straight. Andre Ware was from Houston, so he played against crappy teams.

@getyoasshome In this past 20 years Florida has dominated the college football they had conference titles, three national titles and 2 heisman winners named Danny Wuerffel and Tim Tebow. Danny Wuerffel might be the greastest passing quarterback in college history, and Tim Tebow may be the greastest qb of all time hands down. Yeah they lost to Ole Miss in 2008, but that was like the Gettysburg Address for the Gators when Tim Tebow made that speech and they went on to win the national title.

Auburn from 93 through 97,was a constant top 10 to 15 team.Alabama was on probation?So,so was auburn,that didn't stop them from having very good teams.Alabama had 1 loss when florida beat them in 93,were 11-0 when florida beat them in 94,had just 2 losses,when florida beat them in 96.And as far as tennessee,thier only loss in 95 was to florida,they lost 2 games in 96,one to florida,and lost one game in 97...to florida.FSU had to only worry about 1 or 2 games on their schedule,not florida pal.

1 loss or unbeaten auburn and bama squads? for 1 auburn was mediocre in the 90s they had 2 seasons of 10 or more wins all the rest were mediocre or well below average they were also on probation...bama was also on probation during the 90s..just go ahead and say it.....the team you couldnt beat was FSU..UT was a problem for florida? hmmm they only beat UF 3 times in the 90s...manning never beat florida. if florida had trouble then how did they win half of the SEC titles in the 90s?

Yes they were moron.Both fsu and miami had the chance to man up,and make this arguement moot.But,they both punked out.Miami joined the big east,fsu joined the acc.Which also explains why both programs stayed afloat during the 90's.Florida had to go through great tennessee,auburn and alabama teams,before they even PLAYED FSU at the end of the year.What great teams did miami and fsu have to play before playing each other?Rutgers,temple,wake forest,maryland?LOL,try again shit for brains

@Diver1215 Percy Harvin was rookie of the year and the only Gator Pro Bowler. Florida has 43 guys in the NFL, Miami has 46. Not sure what the NFL has to do with college but I'll play along.
*as for living in the NOW not the WAS. 6+ years ago is the was. Florida beat UM 7 years in a row from 1971-1977, if you would like to go back.

Miami either played for or won the national championship throughout the 80's and early 90's. NFL U was the dominating team in those years period. UF was just an afterthought in those years. Im glad to see UF back up again although this year they r not that good.

Why don't you focus on that, instead of who Florida is playing. BTW: Florida always has a tougher schedule than Miami does. Check the SOS at the end of the season.

Miami turned down the SEC(smart move btw) so they could win in the Big EAst and the ACC. They have yet to win an ACC championship though. I think only 2 ACC teams have never won the conference and Miami is one of them. SAD.

the "most wins in college football" that means they should have about 6 or 7 titles right? sadly 75% of their wins are against mediocre college football teams in the country during that stretch. its easy to get wins when you basically played a mediocre conference and no tough OOC games from 1990 to 2002 (barring FSU who you basically never beat in the 1990s).. i just heard that before last saturday iowa had won 17 of 19..then i looked up the records...a whole lot of nobodys on the schedule.
