I dont like this riddim at all, dancehall nah nice like it used to be, not one decent dancehall riddim i have heard this year... the dancehall of today is dead!!
Its like the newer riddims are blurring the lines and are sounding a lot like House, Techno, and Hip-hop and such. Nothing wrong with that but its a change in the sound indeed compared to the older styles. More danceable and crossoverish. Even Soca seems to incorporate some Funky House elements too.
yuh know wat we need to get away from? the song dem weh insdtigate beer viiolence. uzimi! suh if a dem riidim ere fi mek ppl dance instead of preaching violence! kudos.
I really think they are changing the sound of dancehall music a little too much these days. Dancehall is sounding more and more like dance music or techno and noone seems to notice. Picture the whole of Jamaica dancing to techno music in the clubs. It's losing the jamaican flavor.
True, theres alot to bring to the table...I agree with you on the techno part. We always got the old riddims tuh keep us bizzy, tell me u dont get tired of that tho.
I'm not even talking about older riddims. I just mean, it's like they are changing the sound of the genre so much , it's almost another genre altogether.
dats a very good point, i noticed that. the sounds and beats changed dramatically. the beats r more hip hop then dancehall or reggae and some riddims almost like techno but i cant complain. they dont sound too bad
u dont like? lol...the beats i can stick to...but the dance moves, aaaaah duno bout that stuff...its like, if You were to become a rapper tomoro, the stupidest dance move could become the illest thing...i dont get it:S
true but at the end the people are dancing more than ever and the artists are constantly elevating their flows plus it all goes back and all comes from one place, jamaica, the carribeans, black people, sell offffff
what is the name of the song of macka diamond?
