Walnut is a wonderful name for a cat. I love all of your videos of the encounter. I use to supervise an earlier cat outside and she use to go and visit with a neighbor cat through the window. I have pictures of them. It was so sweet. I love watching cats stretch and bathe. I call them ballarinas. They are amazing creatures.

@canary11141 Walnut would likely find the Bobcat is not his friend. All cats are highly territorial and not tolerant of intruders. The Bobcat would likely make this point clear to Walnut. That's why Walnut stays indoors. As the lady said, "for his own safety". Smart lady, Bobcats in the wild are beautiful, but they aren't pets. They tend to react badly to house cats and yappy dogs.It is very cool they sleep on the window ledge. You get to watch them up close.

@rickengothic You can probably get a license to domesticate a bobcat, and probably have to take certain classes to raise exotic animals. Same goes with ANY exotic animal. If caught with one illegally, you will either be looking at incarceration or a HUGE fine and loss of the animal. Bobcats are very dangerous creatures even though they are badass animals.

if you could only see my lynx... raised from birth. looks kinda like this guy.. I live in a remote area of Ohio. My lynx gets owned by my Siamese lol very easy going cat, I was suprised. I don't have a license, never inquired as to one he's just like any other housecat. pretty affectionate too.. I feed him bottom round and raw catfish, sometimes he eats the dog food, the Collie dont give a crap. Bobo has actually left a wild hen turkey on my porch one day! lol flattered.

here in finland people have seen how a housecat just stands there, looking at the lynx instead of immediately running. I recall there has only been like couple ten meters between them. So ofcourse when the lynx attacks, it´s too late to run for the cat :( Oh and few times I´ve heard how a homecat battled a lynx at it´s homeyard even! and LIVED O.O of course with major scars but still..!

Yes it's a wild bobcat. He lives around our house in Tucson and I saw him sleeping on that window ledge. I got to watch him for about 20 minutes.
