Every speedrunner uses glitches, and not just in mirror's edge. Coil-dashing and side boosting are glitches, too. Cheating requires tools, glitches are just exploits! And skilled ones at that!
its not a WR if you use the Slide Glitch, I dont care if its in the game or not, your leaving nice amounts of time unaccounted for with it, and the wallrun kick jump is different, that actually takes some amount of skill pull off, the Slide Glitch just gives you free time, it really is Cheating.
Slideglitching does not require skills ? 1:07 : if you jump too early, you die, if you jump too late, you die, if somehow you're too slow, you die, if you dont continously press shift, you die, if you dont sidestep fast enough after all this, you die. This single slideglitch implies ALL this madness. Doesnt require skills ... what the ? (i'm also 35 sec ahead from the 2nd runner in terms of WR, really think I need the slideglitch to be #1 ?)

Then, I declare today that strafing is cheating. So now all CSS Pro's are cheaters, HL and HL2 Pro speedrunners are cheaters, Quake Pro Speedrunners are cheaters, Portal Pro speedrunners are cheaters.... @adrenelize your point is so null and void its sad, the main reason its cheating is because its in the PC version of the game and not in the other ones, and it really takes away huge chunks of time, and its EASY, I thought IGlyphia had a point about its applications being hard, but man did I laugh when I tried it and it was the easiest thing in the world, When you can instantly trigger events that take 5 seconds to normally trigger your cheating. so stop trying to justify it already.

@Johan Yep, my run isnt perfect and I didnt use the pipe-speedvault-over-the-electric-fence shortcut. Without the sliding glitches and the kickglitch ... I guess a 3:2x:xx time is possible
