Just because you can't find it online only means that Glenn did a good job of keeping it private, as it should be. I think it may be a combo of both, a tribute to his dad and to his ex-wife. I have one of Glenn's shirts, that I got from an estate sale from Glenn's ex wife so I think that kind of confirms it.
Where is there proof that she actually died? I dont mean to sound cold, but, I also cant find online where she died. I heard stories both ways; the song was wrote for his dad, and wife that passed away. The song is a work of art in any case.
don't know the story of the song... but I agree it is masterpiece ... and i can listen this song million times .... great job with the song and the album... just love it
@FireGoldWolf - Yeah, I agree -Ripper did a fine job of it, but I think Rob would have really taken it to a new level...having said that, I think it's pretty amazing that Glenn bared his soul like this on a CD and whatever the reason for it, be it his wife or father or both, I hope it helped him release some of his pain...this song is a real heart-wrencher!

@zlac If i remember correctly, it's for his mother. She died a couple of months before they entered the studio to record demolition.
