  • 144 is related to the keyboard scan processor board (KPC) check for a cold solder joint there, it it is located under the keybed assembly.

  • @ChrisSousa9 Thanks will do!

  • Try opening the unit and removing the plugin chips. Some were plugged into dil sockets on the pcbs the pins get hot and tarnish. Dry joints on some ic pins too.. i had an eps16+ rack which ran very hot. Also power supplies run hot, especialy when eps is expanded... miss mine :0(

  • lol and smh. I have both the ASR and the 16+. I get this error on the ASR using midi and it drives me crazy. But i haven't had this issue with the 16+. Do they make SCSI cards for the 16+ anymore

  • @btbibanez What's up man? I actually don't get this error very often but that day it had to happen lol.

Unfortuenaltely the SCSI installation kits aren't made anymore. You're best bet is to search for an 16+ with the memory expander and SCSI already installed.

  • this beat sounds like something you would hear from a super nintendo game

  • This beat is fuckin banana dope

  • @DocMohzus Thanks!

  • this stuff is like candy for my ears... its addictive... MAD PROPS!

  • @TheMovieMusicMan Thanks man! The 16+ is really underated for real.

  • can you tell me how to fix it? I could get an EPS cheap but it has the problem. After a few minutes it needs to be rebooted.

    thanks

  • DUDE...THIS IS DOPE.

  • The EPS got tired of playing the same loop over and over. It said "That's it, I quit!" LOL!

  • Yeah... mines was always doing that too :(

I bought it April 1991 till just 2 months ago when it was reluctantly given to a young Nephew to mess around with. I just couldn't take the headaches and errors anymore. It was fun while it lasted i the 90's mainly.

Yours worked 300 times better than mines ever did!

  • They're pretty easy to fix. Usually the error problems are due to the unit getting too hot.

  • Wish you would have told me this 2 month ago. lol.enjoy!
