@DrugstoreCFH oh my bad i misspelled a word. at least i don't trash dead people, who if you fucking read anything about chris henry you would know he had a family and was out of trouble for a while so idk what the fuck u think your talking about
@himynameisjohnny77 I read his wife's myspace page. All that ebonics gangsta gibberish was hard to decipher. Is it really that hard to leave that lifestyle when you make millions? And you say "was out of trouble for a while". lol He was fighting with his wife and chasing her. That's why he died. He would of ended up in prison again if still alive. I'll watch a special on Joe Frazier or somebody worth a shit to society.
@DrugstoreCFH jeez dude do you realize how immoral that is? to say about someone just cause he had a different lifestyle than you? no way is that right to say he deserved to die your fucked up man. its not like he was a fucking serial killer. so according to you all people who commit some misdemeanors and talk "gangsta gibberish" deserve to die? and he was in a fight with his wife....this kinda shit happens to HUMAN BEINGS, chris henry was changing
@jiddy8 He sure did. Classy move by Boomer to give his friend and colleague a little more time to come to grips with everything.. He's just as heads up now as he was on the football field. Great piece!
that was probably the feature segment on a sports show i've ever seen. even i, someone who didn't care much for Chris Henry when he was alive, couldn't stop crying when watching this on Thanksgiving day
yeah Im a grown ass man and I was tearing up watching this.. and then seeing JB crying I couldn't hold the tears in.. Boomer was definitely about to cry too..
@LTDANMAN44 -- absolutely one of the most moving pieces I've ever seen. I'm man enough to say i teared up big time and JB and Boomer are no less a man for losing it either. those "real moments" are definitely rare, solid call there dude.
@LTDANMAN44 Yep. In a world where everything is scripted to try and obtain an articifial appeal to emotion, things like this, Valvano's speech, etc, are truly to be cherished. Unrehearsed, raw, real. Bravo.
I viewed the entire piece and I was truly touched. It just goes to show you that there are people who go through tragic circumstances who can bring something good from it. I applaud and am in awe of Chris Henry's mom for her caring and consideration of people who were virtual strangers to her, and now who are all receiving a second chance at life because of her. I am surprised all the guys on the panal did not lose it. It is beautiful to see real emotion from James Brown like that.
This Is A Moving Segment, My Eyes Cannot Stop Tearing Up, What His Mother Did Is Heart Breaking And Also A Blessing That She Put Others Before Her Son And Even Though He's Not Here Chris Lives On And Breathes On. A Powerful Statement, "Life Is Not About The Breathes You Take, But The Moments That Takes Your Breath Away". I Thank The Most High For Everyday And One He Has Put Into My Life..........Great Piece And R.I.P. Chris Henry For You Are Truly An Angel Looking Down On Us............
When I saw J.B cry I teared up as well...it was such a beautiful story
