@slayyer000 Yes i have, and none of them compare to Brazilian bands like Attomica, Mutilator, Sarcofago, Sepultura, Vulcano ect., and European bands like Schizo, Merciless, Pestilence, Protector, Kreator ect. Morbid Saint and Devastation are good (some of the best to come from the U.S.A), but still not quite as extreme. I'm surprised you didnt mention Sadus or Hellwitch.

@yuyuhaki1 extreme does not equal good lo, Idolatry and Signs of Life from Devastation single handedly destroy any albums from all those bands u listed except Sepultura,Merciless and kreator(evn then its close) same with Morbid Saint's album, Overkill's godly couple of albums etc.. etc.. sure Brazil maybe more "extreme" and "faster" but that does not mean its better. P.s Protector is one of my all time favorite thrash bands :]

@slayyer000 Remember, I wasnt rating bands by how good they were, but by their extremity, so it doesnt matter to me. I like speed. You dont need to lecture me about extremety and quality. and if you think devastation is faster than merciless, who mind you play at almost blast beat tempos, then you are a true dumbass, and a waste of my time. Devastatation has never come close to the awakening in their entire career. lol.

@yuyuhaki1 I was NEVER talking about 'fats' lol idk where that came from, I dont think I ever said Devastation was faster then Merciless, I said Idolatry and SOL are better albums then anything Merciless released except maybe the Awakening, but just because Merciless is faster that doesnt mean they better LOL... just saying... "faster" does not mean "better"

@slayyer000 Fats? lol. Btw the first Devastation album was pretty amature, the secound was better, but much was needed to make it a great album. Idolatry is good, but not flawless. Im not saying merciless isnt flawless, but they were quite skilled imho, and their secound album is by far more technical and complex the anything devastation ever released. You go on about them being better without you even giving an explination to justify this.

I personally prefer Devastation over Merciless love the fuckin riffs and the vocals it's like he rapping almost haha, but thats not the point of this, thats all a matter of opinion and I am basically a Devastation fanboy, been obsessed with Idolatry ever since I bought it a while back, anyways my point was "FAST" (spelled it right this time :D) does not mean good or better. at least not in my eyes.

@slayyer000 I goota say, there you would be wrong. Idolatry, in particular is indeed a fine album, and i consider Devastation to be on of the best Death/Thrash bands, but The Awakening is much more intense in terms of agression. The musicainship is superb as well. But i guess its all just a matter of oppinion as to who is better.

@slayyer000 I dont think he was saying "these band are faster they are better", he was just saying he tends to like bands that play faster, which is just a matter of taste. I would actually agree for the most part that many amercian thrash and death/thrash bands were rather restrained compared to their brazilian and european counterparts, but as you said, speed isnt everything, but it certainly helps.
