@mixwb That isn't talent. That's skills. And everything uses talent. Such as, someone may be talented at singing. Or talented in being smart. Talent, however, only takes you so far. Rap does take hard work. So does any other genre. Music takes hard work if you want to produce amazing results.

@richardg136 I don't think music can go out of date, but it seems to be so with today's music, a song and artist is a hit for one week before he/she and the song is totally forgotten.
I mean, several metal bands has been on the top of the music world for 40-30 years and theyr oldest songs are still no utdated. I'd like to see some rapper be at the top with his oldest songs still as popular as now after 40-30 years
