in 8 it takes 5 sec to warp a track if it is at a steady bpm, i.e electronic tunes these days are always steady bpm so it goes without any fuzz. Just turn off auto warp in prefs. then enable warp on track, click first yellow marker, set bpm to correct bpm (find bpm with tools like mixed in key) and then relocate the yellow marker with alt key pressed to make it hit first kick at 1.1.1. Done :)
I got a question about assigning the cue points. Everytime I assign the points and hit my midi controller to play the cue point it does it every measure rather than right when I hit my Midi Controller, Theres proly some place where I can change this setting but I have no ideah where, Could you help me out?
@DubWuv absolutely you go to the global quantize button next to the pencil button on ur record bar you can set the global quantize there. it will let you turn it off or set it how ever you like. so then when you hit the midi assigned button it will toggle instantly or however you set it.
you can try to experiment changing each clip's quantize method instead of the global, in case you are remixing with another track and don't want to risk the global quantize. Right?
Спасибо!
