interesting note, they have the kana there but they don't even explain what it is and why its there, although everyone knows about the kanji and writing but they just don't know what it all means. This helped my kanji reading :'D

It does look 70's or 80's-ish,but remember that boom-boxes weren't even around until the early 90's...those where the days.

i cant tell the exact model, but in Japan, i've seen those types of boom-boxes in the late 70s or early 80s. the cars looks like from those times too.
