that's not true, using copper and magnesium in an orange will produce .7 of a volt , an iphone needs about 5 volts to start charging so only 7 or 8 oranges are needed to accomplish this.

I was trying to explain it's acting like an electricity circuit board and it takes two metals for the juice to work. sometimes it is necessary to explain how it work in order to understand why it is done. Maybe I have misunderstood your question.
