@lynch18 actually, the whole show is scripted. the plot is pre-set and the actors just ad-lib the scenes. jon was supposed to just act drunk and rowdy, but instead he was a champion and took the opportunity to diss gene on his own tv show. there was no opportunity to be the face of the company because that is not how the PLANNED plot went.

Jason is a really good guy in person, but his ability to do research and find "talent" really needs help. The fact that he chose (zero personality) Jonathan as a spokesperson speaks volumes.
