Ok, this is a very interesting question and i would love it if people replied would u rather live in paradise such as Heaven/garden of Eden where there are no bad ppl or problems and just pure happiness or would u rather live on Earth where there is a lot of happiness but u still need 2 deal with the everyday problems and bad ppl such as the life we live now plz reply thanks!!!
This is good, yet eerie and educational. I love the quote you included from CS Lewis. I often thought Satan was the opposite of God, but I've given him way too much credit.
but why would satan and 1/3 of the angels even try to rebel against god if they knew god already knew what they were going to do. they couldnt have had any element of suprise, which is the most important thing to have in any war. and the also knew god was all powerful which means he cant be defeated, so why would they even try to do that. it seems satan was pretty stupid if he thought he had a chance of winning.
Because of their pride. And just because God knew what they were going to do does not mean that they knew what they would eventually do. Satan wanted God's throne and in his pride he thought he could attain it. He was wrong. The fallen angels followed Satan out of their own pride as well. Why they thought they could defeat God Almighty is something I don't know, but there are many times we humans think we can do something even though we know deep down inside that we can't, but we still try.
since god can do anything i dont see why there had to be a war. the war must have only lasted a few seconds because god could just instantly zap everyone down to hell before they shot thier bows or lazer guns or whatever they fought with. that just leaves one more question my friend asked me but i still cant answer it
could god create a rock so large that not even he himself could lift it?
God doesn't zap anyone. He is God and His ways are not our ways nor are His thoughts our thoughts. There is a reason for everything He does and how He does it. We cannot comprehend the mind of God. We cannot see the things He sees or know the things He knows. He is God and we are not and we are not to question God because we are HIS creation. He can do anything He wants and we all deserve hell. He made a way for us and He did it out of His mercy and grace and His love.
so he couldnt make a rock too big for himself to lift? but then thats saying he couldnt do something... but if you say he can do it, then you're saying he cant lift it. see its the paradox of omnipotence
@ihmen Are you trying to apply logic to God's power? From what I've been told we can't really even begin to understand it fully.I don't see why I'd bother
i dont get why god would create lucifer in the first place. because since god is all knowing wouldnt god already know beforehand that lucifer was going to rebel against him? and since god is all powerful why would lucifer even rebel in the first place if he knows that theres no way he could win and that god was knowing he was thinking of rebeling.
Yes, God knew beforehand what Satan would eventually do. He even knew that we would fall. His plan was in place for our redemption (in Christ) before the beginning of everything. Why did He create us as well? We don't see the things God sees the way God sees them. It is not for us to know some things now. But what God did He did out of His infinite wisdom and grace and even though we don't see it now, we will someday and God's glory will be revealed in all of it.

Hi Karen, Satan Has from the very beginning tried to cast doubt and confuse man about God's Word. He started by asking Eve, "Yea, hath God said?" Putting doubt into the mind of Eve, whether or not she should believe God's word, or if it was even accurate. Then he began to cast doubt about his character, when he said, "Gen.3:5 "....then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil" Continue -
The video is teaching about Satan and what it says about him in the Bible, why he fell. It's showing how evil he is, why he was cast out of heaven and what his sin was.
I pray to Jesus everyday. We have to know why Satan fell and what he does so that we can arm ourselves against him. This video was to show that.
The music is not really music but recorded sounds from space by NASA. In space, each planet and space itself does give off sounds which do sound musical. It's not really music from humans but from space itself.
He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers
And this was LONG before Mohamed had even been born. So what the angel said is like a prophecy.
you see, there is no plan of salvation for angels. The fallen angels are confirmed in their wickedness in such a way that they are irretrievably lost. Think of the life they had, they had been in heaven, They had dwelt in the presence of God, and yet they knowingly rebelled against God. That represents a magnitude of evil that's difficult for mere mortals to comprehend.
I know that there is no salvation for the fallen angels. Their fate is sealed. Hell was made for them. I cannot imagine why they would rebel as they did. They were in the presence of Almighty God! It just baffles me. The evil that they do is so totally corrupt and Satan tries to mirror God in every way - he perverts everything good that God has given us. It is difficult to comprehend, yes. They are truly evil, more than we can ever imagine. Thank you for your comments. I appreciate them so much!
