I thought that too when she said "If I HAVE a daughter..." BUT..1.) .Shonda has said no kids on the show.

2.) MerDer fans would throw a fit if Calzona had a child before they did, after all they are "post-it" married. 3.) They're not married, they've been together for only a year and finally 4.) The lesbian couple having a child is a very annoying cliche and I'm tired of seeing gay women de-sexualized by having a child.
