Yeah that is true about what you wrote. His life is controlled by his career and other people. But this song just talks about why did the break up happen and stuff. It's not really talking anything bad about Joe. But they said that Taylor decided to hang up on him. She could have at least let him explain.

Seriously, say you really love this guy Your expecting to hear from him. He FINALLY calls. What do you hear in the first 27 seconds or so? A break up line. Are you going to hang around so he can tell you what's wrong with you? I wouldn't. But I'm a pain.

I'm just saying that if you feel terrible and you know that he had good memories with you to just let him off the phone easily because breaking up with someone also feels horrible just like being the one who is being dumped. no. Plus with people who write their own music, they write their music based on experiences in their lives and how they feel.
And oh look, this is just like it.
She was dumped and she was hurt by it. Give her a break no matter how public she is making it (which i don't think is right) but still.

Umm, i don't think you understand, the fact that she hung up him was what made the conversation so short. I would have been a lot longer if she listened to him, and if she answered any of the calls he (apparently) made for weeks and weeks after. I like them both, but he was probably hurting too.
