Baby powder is not necessary. You just need the sugar, but I like to use the flicker card as well.
As far as pain, sugaring doesn't "grab" as much skin as waxing (because it's not as hot), so I feel it's much better than waxing.

I've seen people who treated their skin with baby poweder before the used the sugaring technique, is that really neccessary or not? thanks!
