How powerful is this program? Can it actually pick up the beat or tempo, or does it simply just put markers where there is a raise in frequency? Also can this program detect tracks in music files? Like wav or mp3. If not what program does? That'll be cool! Thanks!

theres a plugin called beat detective which does that in pro tools. however detecting tracks, doubt youre going to find that.
