The death rate and complication rate is far lower in male circumcision. The death rate and complication rate is far lower in male circumcision. Vaginal/clitoral circumcision generally removes all sexual sensation in the clitoral area, the vagina is often sealed up, leaving the victim stinking, in sever discomfort and pain. It's rarely done under anaesthetic, post-circumcision mortality vs penile circumcision is higher.
