Should be "Rims" and not "Rim" since the $1M price tag is for the set. As for why anyone want these wheels let alone put them on a car, for one, it's about showing how much money you have. Apparently that's really important to the kids these days (more than ever). Second, it's these same kids who would think that anyone who would use these would use them on a street car. These would only be on a show car, which would most likely be heavily insured as well (not as a car but as a luxury property).
