I liked the ending though! It's a good thing they changed the original ending of the story. That would have ruined everything!!!!

Good thing they have this movie translate in cambodia. I would go nuts and probably kill a couple of people if them don't have translation.They are the biggest thing ever to hit cambodia with their movie. I remember every house watch them when it time for the episode. I love them.

Meteor Garden 2 destoried what it has built up in part one. The undying true love of DMS & Sanchai. Those idiots made a terrible mistake to introduce another woman in part two. They made her a main leading character. It was so upporpular that they could not make part 3!

Hana Yori Dango: Duomyoji (who DMS was based on) was meant to be with Makino (Shan Cai). No two ways about it. BUT, after watching Meteor Garden 2, i think Lei should have been coupled with Shan Cai. he was always there for her, especially in her darkest moments whilst Daoming Shi was getting off with Ye Sha. i think the tawainese writes should have stuck to their original plan or done two alternate endings.

all i know is that in MG1, its a story mainly (aside from friendship) about 2 lovers trying so hard to be together and their sacrifices and made majority of the watchers wanna have that the same kind of love with their love ones..and MG2 simply destroyed the illusion...i hope there will be MG3..are our long wait not enough yet?

It'd so much more interesting if Shan Cai ended up with Lei!!! i meant aren't people sick of the cinderella fairytale endings yet? and it's fun having a little twist in the story...don't you think? What's the point for not to match DMS and SC, a couple have fought so hard from the very beginning and why would they want them not to have a happy ending?? It wouldn't have made sense at all. It's bad enough they made DMS lost memories almost the whole story. It would have been the worst if they ended it the other way around.Or else why didn't end the story since ep. 3 when he first lost his memories. He was with Ye Sha then! No point to drag it.

I would much prefer it if Shancai had ended up with Lei! Besides, that was the original storyline; SC was suppose to end up with Lei NOT DMS! I heard it's because many people hate Ye Sa, so they don't want DMS to end up with her, so they wanted him and SC to be reunited instead.

I don't really agree with that...think about it, Lei loves SC very much, he is willing to stay by her side, protect her at all costs, even if it means threatening the friendship he has with F3, he will never give up on her and will forever wait for her. Really, Lei's love for SC is just as strong (if not even stronger) than DMS love for SC.
