well done guys it's a very worthwhile journey. My friend and I also rode our bikes on the 88 temple pilgrimage in 2010. We carried less gear, only a backpack and a seatpost bag ( about 10 lt). We stayed in minshukus each night.
We also had a similar experience in that early on it almost felt like a stamp collecting race but towards the end we slowed down and just enjoyed the experience.

I will show some people that are interested in Japan and the culture as i am. I hope some day i can try and do this. I would really love to have all the stamps and signatures also so i could bring them home as proof that i did something very great and awesome. がんばれ日本。

I really enjoyed this. I hope you are able to complete it some day (without flying).
A comment on the editing would be that I think the colour effects are distracting more than enhancing.
