Damn, this game was awesome, I remember that I spend a lot of time, playing this game on hard, trying not to kill anybody, but just punch them all (that did Robin Hood) and tie them up. (that did the little brown fat guy monk) =],

And also great was that you didn't need the cd to play this game, just install it and you're ready. So I gave the CD to all my friends, so they could play it aswell =].

i love the game i finished it in one day but i skipped almost all the side quests because it was very repetetive and boring to be at the same places but they tried to give some life to those parts in a way that you allways had a different goal exp. get the money, knock out the tax collector ect.

i really like thegame and i played it at least 10 times.XD

Love this game. Playing it now for the n-th time. :) It has the same gameplay as Commandos but with Medival atmosphere which I like more. Really amazing game. Pretty long. Side missions aren't that interesting but the main that follow the storyline are great.

yes, btw, i did some research, robin hood did exist. except the bit about stealing from the rich and then giving to the poor is wrong, he killed and stole from the rich, then kept it, only spending it in towns, there for in a way giving it to the poor, so says history site. and this game was pretty advanced for its age, atleast in graphics

I had never seen an isometric game where you could interact with everything in such a way. I mean, you can climb trees, take camouflage, set various traps, wander in the woods, cities and huge castles, and everything looks so dynamic, so rich and intuitive. You can even do mouse movements with your sword, where have you ever seen that done with an isometric game, where everything is so small? And the game looks beautiful, it feels like an illustrated book. This may be better than Commandos(!)

@dinocro111 Now that I have finished this game, and not having played any of the Commandos games after the first one, I consider that even though this game has all of the qualities I mentioned, it lacks on variety: the game has more than 20 missions and no more than 5 or 6 main areas. That is really a shame since the existing areas are so visually captivating.
