Stargunner Gameplay

I still have the box and install cd for Stargunner, but I can't play it on my new Alienware Area-51 ALX computer. :(

It's definitely one of the best computer games made in the 1990s. I only wish Apogee were still here today so that sequels of it could be made.

The credit drone was a waste. You could always get more credits with that 1200 weapon because it blasts the terrain to bits.

Apparently, if you only have one weapon on your ship, you can press switch and immediately press play (use hotkey) to get a double of that weapon at no charge. This gives you an enormous credit boost over the course of the game.

If only i knew this, i remember saving up for 2 dual laser, and it cost me an arm and a leg.

It was the only way I could manage to beat each of the three longer parts. Selling the free weapon after every level gave me enough credits to buy extra lives.

You can use emulator "dos box" to play the game on windows. It works good.
