Its not loads of people who do not believe aliens exist, its just most do not believe we are currently being visited by them. Aliens would have 0 reason to physically come to our planet until they absolutely had to. this would be a race that would have had time to evolve over millions of years and have the tech. to bend space and time. There would be no reason to send a couple scouts to earth when their tech. can sugg. they could simply scan the earth and get all the info needed.
