Clausen's lack of maturity (see those pictures of him at the Beer Olympics?) and arrogance will make him the biggest bust in college football. If ND had the "best recruiting class" right now wouldn't they be better than 0-3? Wouldn't they have a touchdown offensively to show for their supposed talent?
And even if they had "talent" (which is questionable) in the next couple of years Michigan and OSU will still beat down on that program. Face it , ND's days of football glory are over. It's a new era now , the era of SEC and PAC-10 teams kicking butt.

Clausan is ranked ahead of Ryan Mallet on almost all the recruiting sites. But honestly. Just watch the video of Ryan Mallet vs. Clausan. Clausan dumps it off a lot in his vids. Mallet airs it out. Mallet deffinetly has a stronger arm. And he is going To "Quarterback U". Mallet will have a better career than CLausan. No doubt about it.

ND will be over rated again for next season. ND is gonna get killed on Sept 15. They're probably gonna get a hard time in State College on Sept 8th especially with Morelli at the helm. ND will probably end up with a 8-4 record, their gonna be lucky if they'll even get a 9-win season. The reason they'll probably have a winning season is because those last four teams at the end of the season is all cupcakes and 3 out of the 4 games are in South Bend.
