Not a fan of this Enjolras...

It doesn't sound like there are many capable tenors in general (including the chorus)...In that, you can REALLY tell this is a high school.

Marius is not bad at all though. :)

omg you guys are all so horrible, stop being mean about the song because it is done at school as a school play, so the main thing is that they had fun, and did the best they can do, what do you expect them to be like? like the ones at the west end well thats unrealistic.

I totally agree...that was totally painful. I like to sing this song, but only when there is nobody within hearing distance. I mean could they sing the chorus any weaker, and with less passion.

These are my favorite songs from the musical,...I'm reminded as I hear this recording how young you guys were. Enjolras and Marius were young students, I got chills. Great job!! You really did it justice!

the only thing i have to say is that the rhythm could use some touching up, and you have to actually act in character. don't just sing it. BE IT.

i agree! its one thing to be like "oh im this character cool..." its another thing to actually be that character for and hour or so! its really not that hard!

the rhythm could use some serious work. The accompaniment has it together in this regard, but the vocalists have a tendency to go a bit faster than the instrumentalists. There are some areas where the intonation could use some work as well.

It's tough to find enough guys to do this well. You didn't manage, either. Not bad for high school, though. You might want to get a better photog. The flash photography is completely unnecessary and makes your actors look a bit like the night of the living dead. I suppose you could do Annie with the no-eyeball look ;-).

The only time i got to sing this song was because I was wandering San Francisco drunk with my classmate from Korea and she somehow we figured Les Mis was the only songs we knew in common so we sung them and didn't know all the words when suddenly out of the blue the ugliest transvestite jumped out and helped us finish the song. Anyways you guys definately sound much better then we did. I'm sure if it.
