@neacsoundsystem Thanks! I actually get huge satisfaction from doing more with less. There are many layers of that in this song alone. 1. I don't have a "real" guitar. Meaning it's not an electric. It's not even full size. 2. I don't have a band yet I sound like one. 3. I don't have an RC-50 (that wasn't around when I made this video) I have a 5 1/2 minute total loop time RC-20. No "undo" function. Sort of like live without a net. 4. My bass was defretted by a high school kid. lol!
@neacsoundsystem You can see my newer videos like "shadow" and "you made your bed". In those I use this old looper as a dedicated drum looper. I run it into a digitech jamman. Juggling the two loopers is quite a kick! Thanks for watching!
U are way overlooked on yhe internet. You should b famous. Lot of stuff to carry around. You are workin it. Gotta ask. Green guitar? in-fucking-credible
Well thanks for the kind words! What can I can I say my man? Spread the word please oh please! 8^). You know, email links to my vids you like to all your friends. I'm really just trying to use my skill set to pay for my 2 beautiful daughters.
How do you record this? I have a Pod X3 that I normally record with, but my loopstation has to go before the Pod or else everytime I change the tone, it changes the tone of the loop instead of my lead guitar.
Somebody told me to hook up the loop station directly to my sound card. I don't know how to do this.
Do you have any tips?
It seems like you've got it down. You're a pretty awesome musician.
Well thanks. You need to run your effects before the looper. Then out from the looper into an amp, p.a., or sound card. To run from the looper into a sound card you need an adapter or set of adapters to convert 1/4" mono, into 1/8" stereo. Good luck! and post vids!
The only way to get different guitar sounds is to run any effects before the looper. Otherwise all of the "tracks" would get the same effect which equals a train wreck. I.E. Cleanish rhythm, distorted and wah leads on the looper then out from the looper to your usb input. You could run effects to amp, then mic the amp into the looper, then into a usb interface.
Sweet! Thanks bro! I have the RC-20 now but it's got a few years on it. I just got a new Jamman. My first video with it is really simple. It's called "I gots to know." Thanks for subscribing. I'll be looking for looping vids from you!
Great song. I like your style(s) of music. This song just pumps me up, and Walking Alone just gets me in the mood. I'm not sure what kindof mood yet though haha. Great looping. Great song. I'm looking into getting a bass guitar, do you think the Squire Starter set is good?
Thanks for pointing out that I have different styles! And for the props! I actually use whatever I get so a squire bass would be great I'm sure. I've played a few and I like them just fine. Good luck and post some jammage!
Great music, much respect. Question the green walls and the green guitar was used to add in special effects later or it was simply the color you wanted to use?
Thanks tronman63. I recorded at the roanoke times newspapers musiccast. They use it for doing news webcasts. I just happen to have weird taste in guitars that nearly matched the green screen!
Thanks man! I put electric strings and an electric pickup from a peavey t-27 in the 3/4 scale samick acoustic. I just like to do more with less. I like a surprise. Check out the way it sounds on this one... (COME ON) Let the good times roll - Jimi hendrix - cover
Actually this is an RC-20. The RC 50 is much larger. There is a newer small version too the size of a rat pedal. This is the same size as an RC-20 XL with less memory and slightly different functions. All of my toys - rat pedal, RC-20, radio shack 4 ch. mixer, fender stage tuner, and OLD school yamaha cheapy drum machine are mounted to a homemade pedal board.
Yeah KT rocks out. Other notable looping performers are Keller Williams, The white stripes, Imogen Heep to name a few. Looping is great fun. Thanks for the kind words and for subscribing!
Let me know when ya get that big recording contract! LOL Another wonderful job.....and the hits just keep coming! Love the red socks!! LOL I hope u know u got some kinda talent. U're truely blessed!
tricky performance with this loop pedal, but really good indeed. Great performance! you do deserve a better loooper. Thumbsup!

I wonder if I could do this...
Run from my amp:
RC20-XL, Metal Muff, Pod X3, Wah.
However, I'd use the double input on my X3 to hook up a mic... which I'd put in front of the amp. Finally, I'd USB record.
That might work, but I'd need to find a good microphone setting that wouldn't make my guitar sound extremely weird.
