  • tricky performance with this loop pedal, but really good indeed. Great performance! you do deserve a better loooper. Thumbsup!

  • @neacsoundsystem Thanks! I actually get huge satisfaction from doing more with less. There are many layers of that in this song alone. 1. I don't have a "real" guitar. Meaning it's not an electric. It's not even full size. 2. I don't have a band yet I sound like one. 3. I don't have an RC-50 (that wasn't around when I made this video) I have a 5 1/2 minute total loop time RC-20. No "undo" function. Sort of like live without a net. 4. My bass was defretted by a high school kid. lol!

  • @neacsoundsystem You can see my newer videos like "shadow" and "you made your bed". In those I use this old looper as a dedicated drum looper. I run it into a digitech jamman. Juggling the two loopers is quite a kick! Thanks for watching!

  • nice

  • lol.. if i had a loop station i'd never get any actual recording done. i'd be messing with the loop station forever!

  • Nice job

    Do you have anything new?

We haven't heard from you in a while.

    TJ

  • great song by the way, is it yours?!

I want it!!! do you have a myspace or something like that?

  • sounds great

how do you connect more than one instrument to the loop station?

  • @jds987 , thanks, it's just a simple 4 channel mixer.

  • haha..that was great!

  • I digz

  • lol 1:07 midget ;)

    It sounds great!

  • Great as always Paul !

  • Lmao, you're great man.

Best one man band I've ever seen.

  • U are way overlooked on yhe internet. You should b famous. Lot of stuff to carry around. You are workin it. Gotta ask. Green guitar? in-fucking-credible

  • Well thanks for the kind words! What can I can I say my man? Spread the word please oh please! 8^). You know, email links to my vids you like to all your friends. I'm really just trying to use my skill set to pay for my 2 beautiful daughters.

  • I appreciate your natural ability shinning through this clip. Quite an effort, right down to the final crash.

    Peace

  • sweet! Thanks!

  • haha, 'shinning'

  • I think I would get into this and then realize you I'm stuck on a loop.

  • for some strange reason i actually like this...

  • How do you record this? I have a Pod X3 that I normally record with, but my loopstation has to go before the Pod or else everytime I change the tone, it changes the tone of the loop instead of my lead guitar.

Somebody told me to hook up the loop station directly to my sound card. I don't know how to do this.

    Do you have any tips?

It seems like you've got it down. You're a pretty awesome musician.

  • Well thanks. You need to run your effects before the looper. Then out from the looper into an amp, p.a., or sound card. To run from the looper into a sound card you need an adapter or set of adapters to convert 1/4" mono, into 1/8" stereo. Good luck! and post vids!

  • I wonder if I could do this...

    Run from my amp:

RC20-XL, Metal Muff, Pod X3, Wah.

However, I'd use the double input on my X3 to hook up a mic... which I'd put in front of the amp. Finally, I'd USB record.

That might work, but I'd need to find a good microphone setting that wouldn't make my guitar sound extremely weird.

  • The only way to get different guitar sounds is to run any effects before the looper. Otherwise all of the "tracks" would get the same effect which equals a train wreck. I.E. Cleanish rhythm, distorted and wah leads on the looper then out from the looper to your usb input. You could run effects to amp, then mic the amp into the looper, then into a usb interface.

  • will you be playing this on your tour?

  • You better believe it!!

  • loll

  • YEAH how awesome is this!!!

Great job my man 5/5 for sure

  • That is some serious multitasking! Top shelf playing, too! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • Good song. I havent heard it in a while. I like the Vmax beanie.

  • Ha awesome dude. It kinda reminds me of Jack Black.

  • HOLY SHIT DUDE... you got some talent my man. i do tracking like this but thru pro tools i want a loop station setup this is real inovative.

  • Sweet! Thanks bro! I have the RC-20 now but it's got a few years on it. I just got a new Jamman. My first video with it is really simple. It's called "I gots to know." Thanks for subscribing. I'll be looking for looping vids from you!

  • Hey i like the little riff in the solo and the style of this one with the vocals copying the guitar. Keep Jammin man!

  • Great song. I like your style(s) of music. This song just pumps me up, and Walking Alone just gets me in the mood. I'm not sure what kindof mood yet though haha. Great looping. Great song. I'm looking into getting a bass guitar, do you think the Squire Starter set is good?

  • Thanks for pointing out that I have different styles! And for the props! I actually use whatever I get so a squire bass would be great I'm sure. I've played a few and I like them just fine. Good luck and post some jammage!

  • Nice tune too... but at exactly 1:07 you turn into one of the seven dwarfs !!! Great looping

  • LOL! Never noticed that!

  • w.t.f. was that?

  • Good Job!!

    What kinda Guitar is that??

  • Thanks! The guitar is a Samick 3/4 scale acoustic. I put a peavey t-27 single coil electric guitar pickup in it and electric strings.

  • interesting sound from that guitar haha

  • Great music, much respect. Question the green walls and the green guitar was used to add in special effects later or it was simply the color you wanted to use?

  • Thanks tronman63. I recorded at the roanoke times newspapers musiccast. They use it for doing news webcasts. I just happen to have weird taste in guitars that nearly matched the green screen!

  • I just happen to have weird taste in guitars that nearly matched the green screen!

Naww it's funky and cool! LOL Though strange to hear electric guitar sounds coming out of a acoustic guitar shape. LOL

  • Thanks man! I put electric strings and an electric pickup from a peavey t-27 in the 3/4 scale samick acoustic. I just like to do more with less. I like a surprise. Check out the way it sounds on this one... (COME ON) Let the good times roll - Jimi hendrix - cover

  • WOW!!! Sencillamente FORMIDABLE!!!

    Saludos desde Chile.

  • bra

  • Man! If anyone was a one man show it's you.

    Keep it up!

  • Woo hoo! Thank you!

  • This is not the RC-20, thats a single pedal, this is the RC-50 I believe.

  • Actually this is an RC-20. The RC 50 is much larger. There is a newer small version too the size of a rat pedal. This is the same size as an RC-20 XL with less memory and slightly different functions. All of my toys - rat pedal, RC-20, radio shack 4 ch. mixer, fender stage tuner, and OLD school yamaha cheapy drum machine are mounted to a homemade pedal board.

    thanks neanderpaul

  • Ya, I was aware of this after I typed that, but couldnt find out how to delete it. I was thinking of the RC-2, that little pedal. My bad.

  • OH how cool- I have seen KT Tunstall do something like this.

Wow, very talented, I like the song, all the elements (love the guitar especially) and of course the performance!

  • Yeah KT rocks out. Other notable looping performers are Keller Williams, The white stripes, Imogen Heep to name a few. Looping is great fun. Thanks for the kind words and for subscribing!

  • my fav part is the soloing with the vocal notes, reminded me of peter frampton, this video is awesome

  • Wow! thank you, that is a huge compliment.

  • As I've said so many other times this guy has great talent. Thanks Paul...

  • The King of FREE Rulez......Great video man!

  • Let me know when ya get that big recording contract! LOL Another wonderful job.....and the hits just keep coming! Love the red socks!! LOL I hope u know u got some kinda talent. U're truely blessed!

    Lisa

  • And you make it look so EASY!! Great job. I think you need to be famous.

  • More incredible tunes from the Loop-Master..

Keep it up... I expect an LP soon!!!
