sorry but scening make believe style is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more dificult than this...

if you notice...all his curves (well holcombs curves) are circular and smooth

so TD put the scenery to match the track style and he made it smooth

In my opinion you totally screwed up this tut...

theres alot of 3-D shading that went into make believe and thats what made it good.

great track yet not to good scenery try doing this. make the track on paper and then scene it on the paper and try to imate the curves you made on the paper in line rider. Remember to never be afraid to erase i didnt watch it all lol but lol

Do you know if you can zoom in on the track but then play it and it would already be zommed in?

2 ways:

1=zoom in while making the track then hold shift ant push play

OR

2=while in play mode - Z is to zoom in.  X is to zoom out.

How would a person know where to put those lines on the "mountain"?

you just need to know how to fit all the track lines in. take TechDawg's mount rushmore from Monumental for example. he took the original lines and drew over them to make it look like mount rushmore. bigger lines are harder to fit into a picture than smaller lines. g-wells would be the eisiest.
