@fotillas this pedal is discontinued, as soon as i found out it was i looked online and found out guitar center had one and i bought it, the one i bought was still new. Check ebay or used gear at guitar center.

@xblackb0x Are you looking for an overdrive then? ANY "distortion" pedal will color your guitar's sound a bit, it literally distorts the signal to the amp based on whatever circuitry you're using. They intentionally made this pedal to sound Marshal-esque. If you're looking for your guitar's sound, just overdriven so it breaks up the tubes in the amp, you want an "overdrive" I can recommend some in this price range if you're interested.

theres a little bit of a level drop when u turn the tone down but no biggy. id probably keep it at 12 o' clock the whole time anyway

Honestly, this pedal is richer and more complex than 75% of the other dirt pedals that cost several times more. I'd hate to buy a Chinese pedal over one hand-made here in the U.S. but that thing IS AWESOME! Nails the Plexi tone!!s

Better than other stuff for similar prices. With GFS you don't ever get to the "boutique" level but you get probably double the bang for your buck compared to guys like boss.

Yes, it says right on the box. Very few distortion stomp-boxes are digital, and if they are, they usually are referred to as "amp modelers", because analog ones are so simple and cheap to build there's really no reason not to use them.

The distortion quality sounds tight, but for some reason the tone sounds a bit choked. Like it's holding back waiting to open up but it never really does.

@strybel Yes these are made in China by Biyang. All of these aren't analog and they aren't true bypass. Google Biyang and you find these pedals.

@drbulbus well, I had the flanger and it wasn't true bypass and how I know it? Well, you should not hear the flanger sweep when pedal is off, should you? With biyang i did hear that. And those analog delays are in fact hybrid delays for example.
