1.unbreakable

this is a great album!!!!!!!!! it is not unapraciated by the public(it sold 10 millions) but by the critics.Ok here are my top5
1)Dont walk away(one of my favorite mj songs and i'm not the type of guy who prefere the less known songs, this makes me cry every time i'm listening it,some times i cant listen it cause of this)
ITS SO FREAKIN INCREDIBLE!!! THOSE PPL ARE JUST HATING ON MY BABY!!!! EVERY SONG WAS MAJICAL!!! In fact, I think the ballads were my favorite parts. they were so AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I love this album!!!!! and everyone that says othierwise can just SUCK IT!!!! :D
the invincible album wasnt BIG in america ONLY every other country it was #1 so NO only in america it was not FULLY appreciated at all. BS really, other countries are more opened minded, thats why i moved to japan i LOVED the invincible album, classic r&b vibe and great music and vocals. Mj never fails
@Jasperthebest7 thank you its so annoying when people say thriller was his BEST of ALL albums, NO mj kept growing and his music kept getting better and thriller is a great album but so is dangerous, history etc they're all equal to me invincible was off the hook!!!!
Invincible is one of the best albums ever. The only reason it didn't do well in the typical Michael Jackson scale of doing well if because Sony refused to promote it properly, and also refused to let MICHAEL choose what singles to release. BIG MISTAKE.
this is his best work...it is being it 2011 and i am still listening to it. the songs rock and make you feel like tossing lovin to your lady. very good.
i love this album. Mike's music in this CD really changed my point of view in music. I hate people hating on me in school about listening to MJ. I personally love 2000 watts and you rock my world. MJ THE BEST MUSICIAN EVER.
Invincible Was My Second Favorite I Love It I Don't Care What Critics Say I Go For What I Like and MJ did a Great Job on Invisible I bet if Sony would have Promoted this album the Critics would love it but no they tryed to ruin MJ's Career
I don't agree with the critics and i'm sue i ll go to buy it.It's a d than everyone must have at his collection. We have to understand that Michael wanted to create something new, samething different
Amazing. Heaven Can Wait sounds like something that a generic black artist would create today, so I think it has inspired many, many singers and rappers. :D
IMO most of Michael's albums were unappreciated after Bad. Possibly my most favorite MJ song is Who Is it. The emotion, climax, and storytelling are amazing! Most people don't know about this song though. I could go on rant about his HIStory and the remix album but that'd take too much room. IMO, as a fan, Invincible was amazing. Public-wise Michael focused too much on ballads. While they are truly beautiful some can only be appreciated by a fan who wants to listen and feel Michael in his songs.
I, for one, LOVE LOVE the INVINCIBLE album !! AND .. I am SO glad that it was voted the BILLBOARD ALBUM of the DECADE !!
And .. I'll bet you it will end up the ALBUM of the CENTURY !! Problem is, none (or few) of us will be around to see if it came true .. that is unless you were born today ! haha.
People were so easily swayed by the media, This was an amazing album, Its only because people were letting the negativity of his outside law accusations.
SWELFPITY??THE FK LEECHERS MEDIA PAPPERAZZIE KNOWS BEST WHEN THEIR GOSSIP AND PICTURES SELS BEST , YES!!! WHEN A ARTIST COMES UP WITH A NEW ALBUM, BECAUSE A NEW ALBUM BRINGS MORE PUBLICITY!! THOSE FK LEECHERS WAS THEIR PAYCHECK CLEAN WHEN THEY PAY THEIR BILLS,THIS IS A WELL KNOWN MARKETING STRATEGY, IT IS ALL PART OF THE SHOWBUSSINES LIKE THE RED CARPET, IN RRELEASING NEW MOVIES ETC , THE MEDIA GET'S THE HIGHEST SALES FIGURES
I purchased this CD when it came out years ago and fell in love with every song on the CD. I didn't understand why people were trashing something they never heard! This CD ranks with his greatest works. As always you can truly "feel" MJ in his work. If you want to know the true Michael Jackson you should see the This Is It Movie!!
Invincible is one of Michael's best album. People just focus on what medias said and not on what Michael tried to share with this album. Also, they just promoted 2 songs, so that's why the album didn't sold that much (well, 10million copies is very much, but.. compare to Michael's other albums), people didn't know what this album contained.
people are so nasty about this album..............no it didnt reach the sales as thriller but thriller album is still his and broke every record , so he didnt need to top the sucess............i loveeeeeeeeee the invincible album it is amazing , but just because it didnt top thrillers sucess dosnt mean it is shit............it is another great album from him!
I think by far this is the best album from MJ. Other than thriller i call invincible thriller #2, I think he came out with a sound no one expected, ahead of its time and in 200w other singers said this album was the best of that year........You ROCkED IT.The fans need to promote this album so others can see......This is it!! INVINCIBLE

INVINCIBLE
Awesome album!! Like I told so many people...whatever you think about Michael's private life, enjoying his music is a complete different thing!! Buy this cd...it is definitely worth the money!!
This is one of my favorite albums. My favorites are: Heartbreaker, You Rock My World, Butterflies, Break of Dawn, Unbreakable, Invincible, Whatever Happens, Threatened, and Heaven Can Wait. Some songs were sweet, but they weren't the kind you would sit and listen to on your iPod (Like The Lost Children). Don't get me wrong, they were okay songs, but I would see how people think they are "Disneyesque". Overall, it deserves a 9/10, but in my opinion, MJ can do better ballads.
He had a ballad called "The Way You Love Me" that was written for this album. In my opinion, it would've been a lot better if he'd used that song instead of "You Are My Life" and "Don't Walk Away". Those ones are kind of like B-side songs. And I think he should've just scrapped "The Lost Children''.
I think the reason nobody really appreciated this album is because he never got the chance to go on tour to promote it. He was planning a tour for this album in 2001 before the World trade center was attacked.. Like many other artists he canceled all his tour dates for this album. I personally think if he had gotten the time to do a tour for this, it would have been better received by the critics. Overall I love this Album.
I don't know how people can think that Invincible was a "flop" - it sold far better than most artists today have sold during their whole career. But, considering that Thriller sold over a hundred million copies, everything after it is a flop if you look at it like that. When I read some of the reviews, I don't think the critics gave the album a fair listening, but instead judged it based on Michael's personal life. Personally, Invincible is my favorite album after Off the Wall.
@BeNotAlwaysx Absolutely agree with everything you said. Sorry for replying 10 months after your comment. LOL.
Btw, did you know the Billboard voted MJ's album Invincible The BILLBOARD ALBUM of the DECADE ??!! Incredible. Just wish MJ could have seen this .. but then, maybe Jesus told him. =)
@ABCHealTheWorld Hey, no problem haha, better late than never.. :) Yeah, I know about that, and I was so happy when I heard - it's great that Michael is been appreciated like that for something else than Thriller. He totally deserved it.
Invincible is my favorite album too. Micahael knows ho to sing a love song. I ate SONY. they need to be honest about the promotion done for this album, because there was no $ 25 miilion spent on promoton. Love you more!
I love all his albums. It's not MJ's fault that kids have bad taste these days.
Music went downhill at around that time anyway. Invincible was the last really decent thing to come out, IMO.
Don't get me wrong...I like my Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rihanna, etc. but their songs are usually all about one thing [or in Gaga's case, nonsensical].
Michael was never like that. He didn't release stuff for the money. Invincible, like all his work, was ART.
I agree with the post below, the times were changing and people were more into the stupid tabloids as appose to the great artist Michael was. after all, he was and still is the King. His appearance was puzzling to a lot of people not knowing he had a disease. Sony was not promoting the album like he wanted them to. These were the beginnings of troublinh times for Michael it seems....... no matter he was the greatest and we will never see another like him sadly.
I hate to say this but Mike's looks and personal problems at this point in his life (age 43) completely overshadowed his talent. If he had done this album when he looked more black I think it would have been better received. The album is more black sounding than his earlier albums, so it conflicted with the way he looked imo (really white). Now that he is gone I am focusing on his early work which I never appreciated enough when he was alive and he was strikingly good looking 70's & 80's.
Michael Jackson was also snow white during his gangerous and history era's so your argument is invalid- people didnt follow MJ for the color of his skin _ most people didnt even see him during Invincible_ they only had the music
@Srhandel I bet your one of those olt timer fans that think his music at your time was better. Well the thing is that dangerous is his second best selling album and guese what? He was very light skinned there so stfu,
I think it's a good album although some of the songs are kind of depressing. It is really long. The songs I like on this are: "Whatever Happens", "Unbreakable", "Threatened", "2000 Watts" is a little loud. "Threatened" is a good song but he sounds really paranoid. "Heartbreaker" is okay but it has a sound effect I don't like sounds like "bleh". The song privacy also sounds paranoid. "You Rock My World" good song, upbeat sound. "Break of Dawn" is okay but he is not in a relationship.
Older MJ albums had bad reviews from the critics too.. even Thriller! I love Invincible but i think that if it had "Shout " in it instead of "You are my life" and "Don't walk away" it would be even better and noone would complaint about too many ballads! Anyway i think that the title "King Of Pop" should have been given to MJ not after Thriller but after Invincible came out because that album with no promos no singles releases no videos no tour, managed to sell more than 10 million copies!!!
the critics are prejudiced, i bet they didn't even listen to the album before reviewing it. songs like don't walk away and cry are beautiful if one has heart to listen to it.
I love it too ,and have wondered ever since I heard it why I never heard any of these songs on the radio and I listen to multiple radio stations .Break of Dawn and Butterflies just makes me melt And Carlos Santana is playing Guitar on Whatever happens .Wow ! And the one he wrote for his kids ,You are my life . What a treasure ! It's My favorite .His vocal range is something else .I didn't know he could sing that low in 2000 watts ,I was like wow, is that MJ ? I think it's fabulous !
@ssssssssssssssssss50 thank you for posting that because you are tellin the truth i dont really listen to pop music but i cant help but listen to michael and prince music lol they're both incredible and i LOVED the invincible album it was great especially "whatever happens" great song!
"Following Jackson's death, the album achieved posthumous praise. Several critics and fans have noted the songs Unbreakable, Butterflies, Break Of Dawn, Speechless, Threatened and Whatever Happens as some of the best tracks on the album. Despite mixed critical reception upon release, the album has since received praise and is considered a favourite among fans"
This album is my favourite by MJ and it was number 1 worldwide except in the USA. I wonder why. I've never seen a more vicious witch hunt against anybody like the one against MJ. Very sad and very tragic..
Thanks! Nobody in the music business took the risk of promoting his later work so as not to be seen promoting the work of a p**** or of a wacko. This is a shame: this is really a wonderful work. It's revolting to see everybody has changed their tune now that his death has shown he really has an impressive world-wide audience and that even in the US the public opinion is now ready to give up their preconceptions about him and even admit the allegations might after all not have been founded
personally i think that this album is full of meaning for MICHAEL... just pay atention to the lirycs, each one contains a peace of his soul and fellings and it's specificly dedicated to someone in his life... REALLY UNAPRECIATED album... it's just BRILLIANT even now sounds BRAND NEW to me... it's just simply PERFECT
YESSS! Totally UNAPPRECIATED! I have an mp3 player fully loaded w/MJ's music. I loaded everything & hit shuffle, except for "Invincible." It's the only CD in which I allow the songs to play in order. It's my favorite! Every song shows not only a range of genres, but how about the VOICE RANGE on this man! Holy smoke! MJ was an innovator because he wasn't afraid to try something new! These so called critics are nothing but hateful, non-talented "SUCKING GHOSTS of JEALOUSY!" Get a life!
I AGREE 100%. This album is not only fantastic but it shows a range of genres from 2000 Watts to Whatever happens and all the ballads. His singing and passion in singing each of these songs is something that could only be done by MJ. Too bad those "critics" sold their integrity to the devil and chose to rate this album poorly. The fans & public at large are not stupid and can clearly see how great this album is, was then & is now. Michael's music speaks for itself, regardless what was written.
After Off the Wall and Thriller. Invincible is my third fav MJ album.

That says it all. I love the album by the way.

This album is my favourite by MJ and it was number 1 worldwide except in the USA. I wonder why. I've never seen a more vicious witch hunt against anybody like the one against MJ. Very sad and very tragic..

Wouldn't be nice to have MJ flash mobs on some invincible songs :) ?
But people will have to invent /adapt the choreography ;) except for you rock my world for which there is a dancing video (great song!!!!!!)

Michael was pure GENIUS! I think when this album came out (2001) it was ahead of its time!!!!
I think it will be better appreciated now.
Love you Michael....Come back!

I totally agree with your opinion.
INVINCIBLE is the Ultimatum of Music.
