  • Drown them in melted butter, then soak up all that melted butter with a cinnamon/sugar mix, a dash of nutmeg. You're welcome.

  • He's absolutely right---sometimes there isn't anything else in the world that can compare with a perfectly golden brown piece of toast. I think that is my favorite breakfast: a hot cup of joe and some lovely, fragrant, crusty French or Italian bread.

And this Welsh Rabbit recipe looks delicious, too. Going to have to go shopping soon.

  • I'm not much of a toast guy, but that Welsh rarebit (yes, actual alternative pronunciation) looked good.

  • Oh f*ck...

Just watching good eats makes my stomach WANT MORE FUCKING FOOD even when I'm full T_T

  • you could also add cinnimon if you like

  • WHA???

    6:38

Did AB just say, "Who they considered shifty, shitless, and usually broke"

...I really hope my headphones are just crappy, because I can't imagine AB saying "shitless" on TV... Although I'd find it EXTREMELY funny xP

  • @WWOLFwts It's actually "Shiftless", meaning lazy or inefficient.

  • Omg! I need a fork like that!

  • no cinnamon? BLASPHEMY!

  • That french toast recipe is sooo good. I like it with honey instead of maple syrup. Alton knows his cooking, his recipes have always worked for me. <3

  • Looks likes giant nachos...

  • @archangelkaz And there is nothing wrong with that....lol

  • @deraifu Nope, not at all. And very tasty if you haven't tried it yet.^.^

  • mmmmm toast

  • The Italian guy said he likes all bruchetta served immediately... or something like that :D

Bruchetta is best with garlic and oil, and served with tomato basil mozzarella salad :P

  • How long does the french toast custard stay good?

  • Will they ever last long enough for you to worry about it?

  • what about one little anchovie over the middle on the bruskehta.

  • he always makes everything perfect

  • Good Eats is probably one of the most entertaining cooking shows I've ever seen. Alton Brown is hilarious!

  • i love eatting just plain GB&D(golden, brown and delicious) real garlic bread

  • I love garlic bread but i have problems making it. I hardly go a day without slightly overdone wheat toast and strawberry jam. Toast is a simple culinary miracle and adding garlic to me often seems like gilding the lily.

  • i use vanilla and cinnamon instead of honey

  • The Bruschetta recipe turns out fantastic, very flavorful.

  • true welsh rarebit is just cheese on toast, sometimes with onion

  • im gonna try this recipie, I wonder is you could use congnac. sorry if thats spelled wrong

  • Ehi, I forgot to say that THIS MAN KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKIN ABOUT! The rice episode about risotto and stuff wat PERFECT.

    Andrew from Milan

  • BRUSCHETTA: first pronunciation is good.

    brusKetta, NOT BRUSHETTA....

Central Italy recipe, amazing in Rome, where sometimes you can eat PANZANELLA (opener dish with moist bread (with little water) , little tomatoes sliced and extra virgin olive oil..

In tuscany bruschetta is done with NO SALT BREAD (tipical tuscany bread.. de gustibus non disputandum :S ) garlic spread on the toasted bread, diced tomatoes, basil and super duper uber monstrous incredible Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil...

  • eww no cinnamon!

  • looks like AB is a fan of Franks... ^^

  • your a fucking moron

  • The irony of that statement slays me.

  • fuck....you win man....i always use your instead of you're.

    FUCKKKKKKK!!!!!

  • I love this show!

  • telescoping toast fork = unitasker?

  • nope,

    1) you can point to stuff

    2) use as a utensil

    3) fencing tool, to fight off invaders

  • invaders hahahahahaha

  • French toast: dont forget 1/4 t ground nutmeg and 1/2 t orange extract!!!!

  • LOL! Look At 9:32

  • Everybody out of the pool! xD love Alton

  • Dijon mustard in an English dish?

    Blasphemy!

  • beer, cheese, toast.... whats not to like. lol i'm definately writing this recipes down.

  • shitless?

  • i usually like my french toat with nothing on it even at restaurants i say to hold the powdered sugar

  • whenever i do welshrarebit.... its thicker.. and i roll it in plastic wrap so i can slice it later.. really good on hamburgers... or sandwhiches, or anything,.

  • omg alton brown is sooooooooo awsome!!!!!!!!!

  • you see pehonix ur not italian so you dont see wut is so great about it but to us italians its a meal for gods

  • I would love to work on this show so I could eat all the left overs. Sure beats the hell out of my job.

  • And you'd get on TV. Alton has a rule that everybody who works for his show has to appear on TV at some point.

  • sweet i need to get on that crew. I'd love to be in one of his shows.

  • Oh, I love that episode <3

I wanna be on his show, help make recipes or be a dietician (one day!)

  • Alton is my favourite food guru!

  • for the garlic i use a corn on the cob holder there cheap and awsome

  • I like to add some cinamon to french toast :3 it taste yummy

  • I must be weird, but I absolutely cannot stand cinnamon...

  • Meh, the joy of food.

Everyone has their own preferences. And you can make it just as you want it. :)

  • I say again on part tow of this episode,This is my favorite out of all the current episodes LTH has posted so far!!!!

  • Hehe. Foodstuffs. I love that word. I'm going to start using that.

  • hey Lam thanks for the update nice touch eggnog Tis' the season !

  • I made the French toast today, it was great. I would let the bread soak much longer next time. I also replaced about 1/3 cup of the Half and Half with Egg Nog, tis the season.

  • Why isn't FoodTV taking these episodes down like... Fox or NBC shows? >_>

Either way, love your uploads LTH.

  • YouTube will only remove stuff if they get complaints from users or requests from networks and copyright holders. So as long as the food network doesn't contact them, we're safe. Thanks so much, LikeTheHat!

  • Dude, if LTH was Alton Brown, he wouldn't be hitting people up for donations on his channel page :)

  • I love making bruschetta. It's actually really cheap to make -- the perfect fancy-healthy college dinner.

  • We serve Bruschetta at the restaurant I work at. Pretty good if I may say so myself.

  • Hi lth, man you have been on fire lately =), thanks again for uploading this.

BTW ... are you a chef or something? because tht would certanly make sense hehehe.

    kudos from mexico

  • @LikeTheHat Bruschetta is my favorite part of going out for Italian food.

  • Anyone had any Bruschetta, it is excellent!

  • It's not just Bread, Garlic & Oil. It's how it's prepared that differentiates from regular garlic bread or garlic toast.

  • Flour, leavening, eggs, butter, water, sugar.... I fail to see what's so great about cake.

  • I know... I only like FROSTING!!!

  • I have the same feelings for oatmeal.

  • Watch his show on oats.

  • I have and unfortunetlly not even AB still could not make me injest oatmeal... bleck

  • You obviously just haven't had the right oats. You're probably thinking of that instant microwave shit.

  • i like teh instant beter than the regular not for the sweatness but the smooth consistancy although i also like it extra thick and other may find that awfull so opinions are good on a personal basis but some ppl love tomatoes dries but not freash i love tehm the othe way around how do you enjoy them?oh and how do you like your oatmeal, and meat hotdog perhapes?

  • Thanks LTH!!!

  • Sure, but I'm thanking LTH for taking the time to upload these for us.
