  • What does his salary have to do with this issue though? He obviously does his job, that's not what's in question here... IDK it's just my opinion *shrugs*

  • 75% of the work they do is funded by the government so ya, his salary is very relevant, a $270,000 reason relevant.

  • yeah 75% so that means 25% is all them... so ummmm I'm still missing where it's relevent!?

You don't know the exact value of what they bring in at 100%, so that 270,000 could be 1%, ya dig!? I'm sure that they get audited annually as a stipulation to them gettin all that funding anyways, so if he really wanted to know all he has to do is go hit up the IRS... :-/ they'll show where it's all goin'.

  • (con'd) it's all a ploy to try and discredit folks *shrugs* it's what Mr. Catina is known for... if you don't believe it check out all vids w/ him being the one to question compared to the other council members.

  • The issue as you sophomorically missed is that a large portion of their services is funded by the government. Now, if they oppose a democratically enacted municipal law, his salary becomes very relevant. I don't understand how you missed that point.

Perhaps they should merely play with their own 25% and have the city distribute the remaining 75% to other organization which would wish to expand their operation and in the process do not discriminate base on the sexual orientation.

  • LMAO @ your use of the word "sophomorically"...

You and everyone else know that I'm right w/ what I said about Mr. Catina and his ways, but that's neither here nor there I was just makin a statement on my observation. I am not the one on the grillin' side nor am I the one on the bein grilled side... so eh

Oh & I doubt that will occur, since that "organization" has so much background & influence in that area + they(the people) know that so much good is being done w/ their $ so why change it!?

  • (con'd) and for real... how different is that man's salary any different from any other CEO's?? IMO seems like people just like to make things an issue anytime "religion" chimes in on political issues... They have a right to vote and speak out against things too *shrugs* He pays into taxes w/ his salary just like u and I & this year will be a much bigger contribution since he falls into the category that are being mandated by the prez to pay more if you make over 250,000!!

  • It does matter because the majority of his salary is being set aside from a pool of fund that comes from the tax payers. Yet he does not have a decency to obey a possible democratically voted law especially when the designated fund is used to feed unfortunates in our society.

For these people, having a remote possibility to provide a "health care" for partner of a homosexual employee (read: very very few are recruited by their congregation) trumps feeding countless of starving individuals.

  • That very decision speaks volume with regard to their moral bankruptcy.

"He pays into taxes w/ his salary..."

Which has been attained from the tax payers. Equally, the POTUS is also a generous citizen because he is paying into taxes. The hell are you babbling about anyway?

"this year will be a much bigger contribution..."

The Bush tax law would not end until 2011. Once again, your uninformed prattling brands you a polemic neophyte who does not deserve any further response. Take a hike.

  • As ussual.....your making shit up. What "mandate" are you talking about? Quote the bill that passed "this year".

  • Ya, your nervous laughter at usage of words to convey one's message is a clear indication to your level of cognitive complexity -- you perhaps revel in that.

"You and everyone else know that I'm right..."

Why, you are an arbitrator of right all of sudden? How presumptuous of you. And your discursive farrago of garble is nothing but a losing argument while consciously being cognizant of it.

  • SMH... silly rabbit. U really think it matters to me what u post!? I came & posted a simple observation on what I seen/thought about the vid. I didn't ask for your mindless banter/babble about my opinions... so carry on w/ all that mess!

Oh & trust there is no nervious laughter in my txt "buddy". I unlike you am well aware w/ what's on the table.

Your use of words only shows me that u like to boast just so u can feel like u really made a legitament argument w/ me *eyes rollin'* puhlleeezze!

  • "The hell are you babbling about anyway?"

If you don't get it then you don't get it(it's probably over your head anyways).

"polemic neophyte who does not deserve any further response."

LMAO... It's obvious that your brain and fingertips don't agree, as you continue to respond. I could care less if you did or didn't, it does me no never mind. You are very entertaining though *wink*

  • You responded to my comment now you want to play a 'I-don't-care" card? Your display of bruised ego is conspicuous for all to revel in and your silence is a blessing.

And your lack of grasp on rudimentary grammar and spelling (i.e. nervious, legitament, etc.) of English language are an indicative of yet another criminally and sloppy educated sycophant of church's doctrines where discursive style of self-flagellation and garbled set of ideas are amply to be observed.

  • There is no card game, I DON'T CARE!! LOL @ Bruised ego, really? Ha! Neva that boo boo, like I stated in my last response it's all in entertainment. It's obvioius that u can read/understand what I'm gettin at! OH WELP...LOL, it's a informal blog/comments page didn't know there were formalities w/ it?!?

On the realz though is that all u can come back w/ is my grammer/sp!? Clearly there is nothing u have left to say but to discredit me on my format; look who's talkin in a discursive style now!

  • This lil debate is becoming futile and insignificant... So plz suppress all that! There is nothing further to discuss, we got our points across for all to see/read. (hopefully) folks will understand your ostentatious display... lol

  • thanks for posting the hearings. david does a great job and is calm, armed with facts, and doesnt play games. he is above all respectful. equal rights for all must soon be the nationwide law! yes we can!

  • Thanks for posting! Kudos to David Catania for his robust questioning.

  • Wow. 268,000 a year? Thanks for that.

  • That CEO's name is Edward Orzechowski (Catholic Charities) and, according to Washingtonian Magazine, he makes over $268,000 a year. Serving the poor?

  • Thanks for the information. I've added it to the video annotations.

  • Do you have a link btw? I'd like to add that too.

  • Wow. This is a complete evisceration of the rhetorical dodges that the church uses. They want public money but want to discriminate. I wish Catania had posted that CEO's salary.
