nikneim, I just recently bought a new guitar. I haven't played in a long time. I would like to play in the style you do in your "Testing Yamaha FGX730sc" video. Are there any books and/or videos which teach this style? Thanks in advance.
Loved ur fingerpicking style...went through this video over and over again and finally bought this guitar yesterday. Its an excellent choice and thanks for helping me make it
which one would you suggest this guitar or takamine eg530sc,,please somebody help,,im searching for a guitar in that price range,,unfortunately i dont have any of them in my place to try them,,
Yamaha FGX730 SC BL for the win. Have 5 guitars and now that ive had the Yamaha for about 1.5 month, i must honestly say that it's the best aqustic guitar I've EVER played. THanks man
when you're not playing the guitar through a PA or speaker, take the battery out and flip it around so the contact points don't touch. When you want to play, simply flip back over.
@TrebleFiend Thanks. Someone else also told me that unplugging it from the amp is the same as shutting it off...there is no on/off switch, but when the plug is pulled, it's essentially off.
Unplug the cord from the guitar jack. If you just unplug from the amp and leave the cord plugged into the guitar, the battery will drain. The battery should a long time.
but i`ve noticed an angle (line) on the top. it starts under the bridge in the middle of the guitar and ends at the bottom end of the guitar. is that normal?
Yes i am indeed considering buying it. PLayed it a few times myself and i just completely fell in love with it. The price here in UK is about 400 punds but i think its afordable :P
@DaveMF94 You should buy it, it's really a great guitar. It plays, and sounds like guitars in the $1000+ price range. I've lowered the bridge on mine, adjusted the trust-rod for a dead flat setup, and it really plays like a dream. :)
Sounds like a superb guitar, thinking about buying this or the freshamn apollo 3oc. Great playing by the way.

So where is the on/off switch? No kidding. I have this guitar, and I need to change the 9V about every week because I can't seem to turn it off.

@SkipVanLenten If you have not figured it out yet. Just hold down the tuner button for 5 seconds and it will turn off.

@Phex2k absolutely normal. that's where the two panels meet. it's made that way to be symmetrical.
