@TutsModding They work together, you do some things using the starter kit but build the maps and set encounters ect  with rpg xp. the kit is used to make trainer types and pokemon

Go to the icon right of database. go to tilesets. go to import. go to the file you want to import. import it. go to database. tilisets. change maximum to 1 more. go to tilesets graphic click your file. make all the "x's" "O's" apply. Ok. go to table properties. go to your graphic. click it. apply. Ok. you now have the graphics. Reply to me if you need something else.

I'm guessing that you have only used RPG Maker XP with Pokemon Starter Kit. If you have used RPG Maker XP before without the PSK then you'd know how. Just right click the map and click Map Properties, then you can change the Weather Conditions.

reply to gr8hokage: you...download the sprites and maps O.o, if you really don't know the basics i don't recommend using rpg maker xp (at least not hope to release anything) within the next year...maybe look up some rpg maker walk-throughs and possibly find some resource sites or maybe get into graphic designing...or even scripting (like i plan to).

if you download a pokemon game made in RPG maker you dont need emulator, you just need RGSS2 player, that thing is free instaled when you download RPG maker xp or vx software

hey how do you load a tileset?

I know how:

1: get the textures you want to add

2: resize and fit them to a veiwable sprite sheet or windows paint works well.

3: save as "TileE" as a .png file

4: go to resources on rpg maker xp or vx

5: press import and select the file.

you should now be able to use your new textures. please message me if you need more detail.
