Agreed! But that kinescope can be colorized, as you may know, thanks to computer software that can "read" shades of grey. The kinescope can also be made to look better. Someone should undertake the restoration!
Never mind..I saw their names under the tags...LOL! Also, it looks very much like it was done in color. If you enlarge the video to full screen, it looks like it was filmed off a black-and-white screen like a kinescope.
@nswelles - Yes, t definitely aired in Color both in the US and England. I suspect this source was ITC's kinescope (they commonly kinescoped their videotapes before erasing and reusing them) Liberace's estate released a DVD last year with scenes from this same show, but not this scene - which in my book is just so wrong!
