If I had this and some action figures, I would place Picard, Riker, and Troi in their bridge chairs, Data on the left-hand station in front of the view screen, Worf at Tactical, Geordi working at the aft section, and Crusher standing next to the elevator at the back left.
Cool, but I wish they had made it to scale like they did the NX-01 with the deluxe action figures from Diamond Select. In fact, I wish they had just made the whole thing instead of going modular.
SOME $*#@^% STOLE ALL OF MY STARTREK/STARWARS/LEGO TOYS! Just wanted to vent. This brings me back. I hope they realized that they were toys and threw them out. I dont like the idea of all of my childhood being sold at a pawnshop for drug money. :-/
@phicabmus That is such a stereotype! Almost everyone watched TNG back in the day. Scientists, psychologists, the curious, the optimistic, pretty much everyone was watching it. Middle aged men that watched it came later after the show went off the air.
No, it's not. Everyone knows that the vast majority of Star Trek's audience (and thus merch buyers) are middle-aged men, men who have a critical eye. Playmate was just lazy on everything. Now, we have Art Asylum, which is usually high quality and good proportions--it just takes them forever to get to production.
i had one of these

Compare this bridge playset to the 2009 bridge playset. This one beats it by a hundred fold.

How much is the bridge playset?

I still have most of the bridge set. I am still missing one control panel. The poor set is so old my brother had to glue the chairs down.

Cool giant hand. Isn't that the same one that grabbed the Enterprise in the TOS episode "Who Mourns for Adonais"? LOL

the vast majority of Star Trek's audience (and thus merch buyers) are middle-aged men, you are right.
but paramount had to register this fact first. then they raised the quality to adulttoys.
this playmatestuff WAS supposed to be for children!!

As always, Playmate's stuff is woefully out of proportion.
